    This is totally awesome wish I had the money to try this out but I have a razor mz650 with 2 32volt batteries and running off of 72volt controller so I don’t know which size I would need

      Are you wondering what size front pulley you should select? If so, this depends on how many amps your controller pulls. Feel free to contact me using the site if you have more questions:

    This is awesome. I’ve been waiting for someone to make a belt drive kit for these motors. I love my mx650 72v 120amp. I just bought a mototec to start a new build so if you want to start making the pulleys to fit those bikes I think there’s another market ready for you

      Good idea. Thank you. ❤️

      I wish to second this.
      I'm running a Lunar Scooter LS 1200 (basically identical to the Mototec Uberscoot) and I converted it from 36V 1200W (SLA) to 48V 2000W (Li-ion): the only problem is it now loves to eat up chains and sprockets.
      I was thinkin of drilling out an old sprocket and using it as a 3-bolt to 4-bolt adapter plate to use the MX' pulley you designed, but if you're willing to retool the design to fit the Mototec, I'd be interested in purchasing one for mine as well.
      Keep us in the loop, and keep on doing what you do!

      Oh thank you. The tricky part is the motor shaft and proper alignment. No plans currently in place for a mototec unfortunately. If your conversion goes well I may buy the design from ya or have you make me some adapters 😉

      How do you go about tightening the belt if it is loose?

    • @jeffreyhwalker
      @jeffreyhwalker ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So what are the benefits? Is it just a quieter ride with no maintenance? I'm asking because in order to make three or four hundred dollars there's going to have to be some good benefits

    Nice hub motor to the left

    • @beltsNshit
      @beltsNshit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ha! Yeah it’s an old brushed hub motor. Came off of an old moped. The brushes wore out. I can’t seem to be able to find new brushes for it cuz the company shut down 😔.

    Do you have for RSF 650 !

    • @beltsNshit
      @beltsNshit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The kit works for mx, sx and rsf bikes. I have an installation video on my cam for the rsf650 but it’s basically the same as the mx. I’ll probably post that later.

    Wonder if better this than doing a bmx freewheel upgrade

    • @beltsNshit
      @beltsNshit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure I follow. Most people weld the freewheel when they have problems with it.
