Inishbofin Ferry: Island Adventure

For most people conversations about Inishbofin illicit memories of summer ferry rides in bright sunshine, open skies, and the deep blue of the ocean. Today the Island Adventure provides regular service to Inishbofin, and on a clear summer day, stunning views of the mountains of Connemara, High Island, and the coastline. If you watch this film you will see John Concannon, an islander who grew up fishing along Inishturk, Inishbofin and Inishark, and in his later years helped to run the ferry with his family.
