- Hey there! How's your day going?
It is time to create realistic tire shaders (or tyre if you are British :) ).
First, we will configure some basic settings, followed by some guidelines on handling edge wear.
For FREE, you can find the Material Function used for the edge wear on my Patreon.
Let's go!

Gem of a channel. Keep it up man! Love the content.
Thanks man!
Wow that's soooo good!!
Thanks man!
super cool! 🥳
Thanks! 😁
amazing Thanks for sharing this Tutorial
Thanks!
How do you even create that material function, how would you know how to build that? is that based on documentation from epic games or is this something you figured out cause it looks complex.
I want to know this also haha, is your brain simply big?
I spend a lot of time doing research on the internet. Tutorials, documentation, etc. Then I put it all together, that's the secret :)
ahahaha!
At the end of the video, you mention that it works best for non-moving renders. Would it be possible to use this material as a tool to generate textures for baking, and then just use the baked textures to make hq tire material on a case-by-case basis? 🤔
Hey! I don't think it is possible. For baking textures, use tools like Substance Painter; it will be easier
Great tutorial, could you create one about fabrics?
Sure! Thanks!!
I second that! I need some ArchViz materials for Sofas, Curtains, Carpets, etc. That would be really great!
@@estate0007 They are on the list ;)
from where you get this tire 3d model
I don't remember; I found it somewhere online. It was in my tire folder for a long time
