    A Big bore is the only thing I haven’t done and I have some crazy complete showroom resto’s. Nice job on the build. It’s fun to see what others are building.

    Dropping my blaster off this weekend for this reason... what’s your top speed

    • @chrissolem2615
      @chrissolem2615  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just finished break in, but first nice weekend I’ll gps my speed and get back to you (I’m running a 14/40 sprocket ratio with 20” rear tires). The last one I built was stock with 14/40 with 18” tires and I topped at 57mph, so it’ll be interesting to see what this tops at. But, I’ll probably make adjustments to balance gear tallness an acceleration to fit the track I ride.

      How fast is it ?

    • @chrissolem2615
      @chrissolem2615  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I switched to 13/40 sprocket ratio. Tires are 20 by 11 inch on rear. Rides right on 60mph according to gps on phone (dirt road). Biggest difference with Vito’s big bore with stroker, was out of hole... Doesn’t have the slow take off of stock or struggle winding through 4 through 6th anymore. More applicable or making jumps out of corners. Good project quad for my side toy.

    Looking right now to do the very same a 240 big bore with a 3mm stroker. Awesome job man. Killer music selection too

    • @chrissolem2615
      @chrissolem2615  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The nice thing about Vito’s with 3m, it’s a true 240 (244cc). Without the stroker crank, the math works out to 232.

      Can you get a vitos big bore an use the stock crank an rod?

    • @chrissolem2615
      @chrissolem2615  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SmalltownBoy-jf5pl , yes you can…. It makes a 232 instead of the 244 with the 3m crank. I just bought it with stroker, cause it’s 650 for cylinder n piston and 839 with crank and spacer plate added to the cost. I also ended up buying a bigger intake and running a 34mm keihn style flat slide carb jetted 52 pilot and 162 main jet with uni foam filter attached to carb. But, I will be buying a 34mm Lectron soon.

      @@nacional1231 , I will… I’m doing a big job on my 125 (big bore, porting, Billetron carb, rebuilding suspension with race tech) and race teching suspension on RM. After that, I’ll be ordering the 34 mil Lectron for blaster. I should have 125 done end of March, 250 done April… I’ll get onto Ordering carb for blaster May. I’ll post it.

    How do the bullseye reeds compare to vforce 4 and rad valves ?

      Not sure, I haven’t got any comparable data…. I use vforce on all my Mx bikes, I just thought it was a cool design for good price, so I went for them. I’d guess vforce is better

      It’s very noticeable, especially on hill climbs; but if I do a quad build in the future (considering I spent 5,000 on this build), I’ll build a Banshee. More bang for your buck. I had to buy bigger intake and I upgraded to a 34m carb to get the stroker kit to open up on this Blaster…. It’s a fun toy, but I’m considering selling to buy and invest in stroking out a Banshee. My only concern, is I’ll regret letting it go after the time I spent building it.

      •Transmission
      •Counter balancer
      •Clutch arm
      2002 and up, they have welded shift stars, I had to order a older shift drum for bearing on that. I paid 125 for bearing kit.

      @@dwmlr , I put bigger intake in and upgraded to 34m carb… Really opened her up and power hits great (flat slide jetted 162 main and 52 pilot)… I will purchasing 34m Lectron in near future… Also jetted to a BR8IEX (even though Vito’s recommended a 9 to jet to).
