- Decided for October/Halloween to revisit one of my favorite games as a kid, I Spy Spooky Mansion. I still have the game on CD-Rom, along with a few other I spys. This is the original version, not the Deluxe. I know some other videos of this game exist, but I love this game and figured I'd make a video for 2020. Maybe I'll revisit the other I Spy Games I own. I love replaying old games / software. Enjoy!

It took me FOREVER to beat this as a kid, and my mom had to help me find some of the hidden items. What a great game; to my young untrained eye, the animations were silky smooth and the spooky atmosphere impeccable 👌
This one was the coolest ispy computer game ever as a kid

This game was magic in my eyes when I attended RSP as a kid in Elementary. I was mesmerized by the style and atmosphere this game had. Its what introduced me to I Spy.
This was my childhood... plus, fun fact, Spooky there is Amy Birnbaum, Tea Gardner in Yu-Gi-Oh, Max and Molly Hale in Pokemon, Charmy the Bee in Sonic...

Great game. So disappointed that the iOS version is unplayable now.
I prefer the original Spooky Mansion than the deluxe, since after winning the game and getting out of the house, we can go back inside and replay all the riddles and the games.

This game was my jam as an 11 year old
This game used to be a free gift that I got every time I received a free book order back in elementary 🏫. If I may ruminate, the 🪰ies in the picture riddles nauseated me just looking at them, because I thought that they would land on Skeleton's head.

I've only ever played the Deluxe version for pc and the Wii version. I thought this would be identical to the deluxe version, but I was wrong.

@@KWoodsification Technically you can still play it, you just need to play old games on virtual machines. That's actually how I played this game, with a Oracle VirtualBox virtual machine running Windows 2000. My normal OS is windows 10. There's lots of videos/documentation on how to set it up.
Maybe I could make a quick video and have it on a private link and reply back, since I dont think its important enough for a full video publicly. I'll see :)

I've played I Spy Spooky Mansion Deluxe before, but I've never seen the original. I bought it on Big Fish for $10. Anyone know where I can buy the CD ROM for the original game.
Where do I find a version of this game that will play without problems on windows 7?
unfortunately you can't play this game on any modern Operating System. I believe it has to be windows XP or older. Best way is to play on virtual machines or an old computer.

I wish I knew of some similar games from recent, but I can't find any. There's some "look and find" games, but not in the same style as iSpy. best thing is to play the originals on virtual machines. Virtualbox: www.virtualbox.org/ This is how I play old software.
