There was an era where this game would be on the computer and kids would play this everyday until one day, we were stuck on the part where the treasure was hidden behind a tree? (I’m yet to watch the video but I think that’s what it was) and for weeks we couldn’t get past that, but me. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs when I found it and everyone sprinting to the monitor. Coolest moment of my school career.

i remember going to the public library and playing on the computer and seeing this on the games selecter, then they replaced all the computers with new one that are made for little kids then i never saw it again

I think these fictional Buildings in Smugglers Cove like Duck Pond Inn was built in 1937, Mo's General Store was opened in 1946 and Smugglers Cove Museum was established in 1983 in Fiction.

If you search up "I Spy free download" on the internet, there are lots of websites you can download it from. When I played this in the past, I would usually download it from BigFishGames or WildTangent. Seemed to work the best.
Does anyone know how to get it working on a modern computer? I've tried messing around with all of the settings several times. I've used all of the compatibility modes at this point and still can't get it to work. I can hear the main menu but I can only see a black screen
