"Might not look like it but"
Compared to what it was, it looks clean enough to eat off. lol
I had the same kinda leak on my '08 CRV just recently. Tried to do it without taking the motor mount off, but ended up having to anyway.
Not for taking the tensioner off, I got that out with the motor mount in. Had to do it *after* I got the tensioner and belt back on because I somehow got my ratchet stuck behind it.
For your crankbolt, I hear that special weighted sockets are good for breaking those loose. The extra weight helps generate a bit more torque from your impacts. Lisle brand is the most popular I think, but I got mine from Astro Tools. Haven't tried it yet though.
@@rallaa941 that crank bolt is definitely a bitch! I still need to replace that seal, so I'll definitely check out the weighted socket. Thanks for watching!
Special socket for that bolt. Takes it off easy.@@HardHeadGarage
@MrRealistic316 tried that too with no luck
Less extension to the bolt should help.
Classic Honda crank bolt, you’re going to need a big ass impact, harbor freights Hercules 1/2 high torque impact should do it
@bagginn I've worked on Hondas for many years, and this was the first to ever give me trouble. I guess I was due for it lol
