I want How-To videos to get to the point. So far, I'd critique that you should loosen the right side Axle Pinch Bolts because it makes rwmoving and reinserting a tad easier. Also, before removing the axle, snug up a pair of rubber chock blocks under the wheel to keep it from falling. Allows your hands to be free and protects the wheel. Gonna watch the next 5 minutes!! Hope you have a rear wheel video too. Thank you.
The next five minutes, please be specific in your torque requirements and make sure viewers know that your torque specs may differ from theirs. I have a 2017 ZX-10RR and my specs are as follows: Front Caliper Mounting Bolts, 26 ft lb, in sequence, bottom, top, bottom again. Both sides. Front Axle Nut: 95.9 ft lbs. Front Axle Clamp Bolts, 15 ft lbs, in sequence; 3, 1, 2, 4. Then you go back and do 1 and 2 again. Again, this is from my Service Manual for a 2017 ZX-10RR (Gen 5). I also like your Bungee Cord idea!! Very convenient.
Watching again two weeks later. One thing I read in the manual is, after seating the calipers back on to the brake disc (rotor), it says to screw in the caliper bolts but leave the bolt head backed off just enough so the head does not touch the caliper. It then states to squeeze the brake lever to seat (mate) the pistons to the brake disc while also seating the caliper so the caliper, pistons, and brake disc are all synergized. Once the brake lever is squeezed, and held, and all components are synergized, then torque the brake calipers bottom, top, bottom. I am not saying your method is incorrect. I am sharing what the manual states as far as procedural sequence.
😂 i just put a new tire on my bike 30 minutes ago walked in the house and this was on my feed. I used a front wheel lift and it makes alittle bit harder to line up the axle to slide it in. But job complete.PS, amazon has a 22 mm hex socket. 8 bucks, got herein 2days.
2Fast2Fear I think the stand we are using are keeping pressure on the bottom of the fork not letting the axle slide through completely. I bought another stand that lifts the bike from the bottom of the triple tree. If u need anymore info let me know.
Just one questions sir, I had my bike got towed via CAA they strap through fork arms right where Axel Pivot bolt is stretching straps outwords. Could this damage or disalign the Fork Arms or Pivot bolt ???
Sorry about that, 94lbs of torque, per the manual. I see people online suggesting that 80lbs is enough, but the engineers in the manual say 94ft-lbs if torque for the front axle nut. Sorry for typo

I used a front stand that lifts from bottom of forks. Having an impossible time lining up axle to nut.

Is it 94lbs torque or 80?? You kept saying 94 but the videos shows 80 on the left hand side when you’re torquing it
