Talbot Outlet Stores are great for saving and wardrobe building. I find their shoes are a super fit. The clothes launder well and these classic pieces have staying power. This video brought back memories of a Talbot haul that was very fun four years ago. Each item is still in use.

Hi Tania, I like your channel a lot. It's good to have the mature, but NOT old ladies represented. My only suggestion would be stores that are closer to me, such as the following : Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Ross, Lane Bryant, and Old Navy.

Extending my wardrobe by mixing pieces is important for my casual lifestyle. I think you “swam” through Talbots current look book and found what works for your individual style! I love the Talbots try-ons and you seemed more at ease working from your computer. A few more outfits would be great. I also like your try-ones that are not video like the recent Old Navy post. You are so talented when choosing outfits. Remember most of the famous people with great stage presence have years and years of experience but guess what? They don’t post on a blog as themselves that I am interested reading everyday. You do! Just be yourself. You are unique and interesting.

I just got the Talbots catalog and decided to see if any TH-camrs had a fall 2022’ haul…and lo and behold I saw u had a TH-cam channel! Glad to find you and I subscribed -looking so forward to watching more of your videos…I just turned 60 in August and it is refreshing to find women similar in age as fashion inspiration

Tanya, thanks for sharing these great looks! I went to my nearby Talbots on Tuesday and saw the fabulous new collection for Fall. I was in a hurry, so no try-ons for me that day. Now that I see you showing us some of the very same pieces I have in mind, I'm going to make time to go try them on! I've been a totally satisfied Talbots shopper for over 30 years. Their style and quality is unmatched.

Those are some nice picks! loved most of the outfits, the only thing I wasn't crazy about were the dresses but just because I know they would not look right on me (but they do on you!). My favorite is the corduroy pants... Love the color! the outfits were well put together I would also wear them as shown. Great video. BTW love your haircut!

I loved this try on video. I read the blog but really appreciated and enjoyed the live session with you. Perfect amount of time and try ons for me. When I was working Talbots was one of my favorites, then I stopped shopping there. Seemed too cutesy/matchy-matchy or sometimes too matronly but you have inspired me to try again. Their sales are good and I do get their mailed catalogs.

I’m plus size and have worn Talbots for years. Classic pieces and structured fit help you look put together. Every season I add a fun piece to stay updated. Talbots uses the same colors from year to year so it’s easy to add one or two new things. Red tag sales are everything.
I love every outfit! Wish I could do sleeveless but those days are over. I got some great ideas and can't wait to go shopping. I love these videos!
Yes I can’t go sleeveless, so self Conscience of my wings I call them hello Dolly LOL LOL, But I will wear a little three-quarter links pretty top over it like a button down shirt or a little jacket

Marielee, that's what I do too. Almost everyone has flabby arms, so don't be self-conscious.

Love this try on vid! Thank you….. we are the same size, so I appreciate seeing the clothing on someone similar to myself. Gives me some more ideas of pairings. Where else do ladies of our age shop? I find it difficult to find age appropriate clothing that’s stylish, not frumpy. 😀

I love Talbots and really enjoyed your try-on. As a plus petite sized 55 year old, I am always worried about looking frumpy. I appreciate seeing Talbots on a real person vs. the skinny young models in their catalog. I really liked the red jacket and the cable vest outfit. My suggestions for future try ons would be to get closer to camera so we can get better look at clothing, fabric, etc.. The red jacket had cute details such as trim, but you went fast and didn’t call attention to details. I look forward to seeing you on TH-cam again.

A serious question as I try to find my way in the clothing world as a 64 year old woman. I battle with loving all kinds of styles including Bohemian, Victorian and what you showed us today. One of my struggles is that I need to lose weight but that aside I don't want to look like I am trying too hard or dressing inappropriately.. Would you please give me a nugget? Thanks!!!

Thank you for this. Talbots is my favorite store. I have some of these pieces on my wishlist and was waiting on fit reviews to buy. I live over an hour from the nearest store and do most of my shopping online. The C'est La Vie sweater is listed as a bateau neck which I normally don't like but in pictures it doesn't appear to be a full one. I don't like to layer and they usually show off my bra straps. What was your experience?
The nearest store is 45 minutes away from me, so I almost always order online also. I prefer trying on items at home where I can put on shoes, jewelry, etc.
I wish I could go to Talbots, years ago ( yes I was overweight) I went in to buy something’s for my daughter, they told me they did not have my size , almost as soon as got in the store, it still hurts.

So sad- I’d say give them another shot. That salesperson is probably gone given their lack of sensitivity and appreciation of different body types.
