One Piece can sometimes be veryyy slow and have some awkward pacing and fights, but when they pull no stops they really pull no stops for their fights scenes. Absolute masterful work.
stop watching it weekly then. the pacing is fine, u just cant criticize pacing when u wait 7-14 days between each episode. it will always be slow.

he prolly had to spin since he wanted hotter flames, whereas he wouldn't have to if he just wanted his same old flames.
he doesn't have to do that for regular flames. seems necessary for the blue flames

Even when he used to do it for the base flame, it was friction based…which is minimized mid air

I love how they used one of sanji's jazzy osts but it's a new version with a clarinet lead. So good. 🎶
I love how he saved the mouse, it s a redemption story since his dad throwing a little mouse friend and the food he cooked. Gave me chills.

This episode means a lot to me for many reasons. Sanji is my favorite character, he’s one of my inspirations for pursuing a culinary career, and this was the final episode for me to be officially caught up with the anime. It was a roller coaster man

This fight was one of my favourites of all time, not just the consistently amazing animation but also the writing and character development was beautiful. Queen was an enjoyable villain and the perfect opponent for sanji
Considering that Zoro and Sanji actually hunted dinosaurs back in Little Garden, I wonder if beating on these mythical zoans felt nostalgic.
Seeing the Strawhats showing their skill in this battle always amazing.
Damn queen got the fishman treatment. Seeing that combo some 10+ years later was amazing!

Notice how Sanji deals his most powerful strikes only at two points of Queen's body (his head and tummy). Sanji keeps striking his most vulnerable wound, cus his other body parts are still covered with insanely thick and strong skin. Effective fighting 🔥

The style, the music, the animation, and of course everything new they added in that enhanced this fight. This is now one of my favorite fights in all of One Piece
This was absolutely masterful animation of Sanji's ultimate resolve, the combos with the flame animation was so stunning, they keep blowing up the animation bar😭

Over the past year Akihiro Ota quickly became by far my favorite animator. He's got the most unique style right now and I am so glad animation directors just let him do his thing.

@@kylelevinson7506 This may be coming a bit late, but yes. Akihiro Ota and another legendary animator with a very similar style named Shinya Ohira did that cut.
I hope that if Sanji does actually get CoC like some folks are predicting(Sawyer's a notable 1), Is that he'll coat his foot with CoC and make his flames black then the whole "Blackfoot Sanji" thing would make even more sense.
Honestly Sanji in my opinion doesn’t have the Qualities of a King he just doesn’t fit in with those people him getting it would make no sense.
Thing is I feel if that does happen oda would want to go with a colour more vibrant so it is more flashy in the shonen setting

God, that kick that sends him flying is immaculate
EPIC. CHILLS. Words come up short for the way this made me feel. One Piece is the greatest piece of fiction and the animation is at an all time high. Thank you for all the hard work and love the animators put into this.

finally sanji's fighting style is being explored as it should, thanks to animation. His way of fighting is very badass, but the old animation was not enough
Love how Sanji started out the kick as having it red, then used friction to heat it up to blue flames, which are hotter than red flames.
I preferred this development far over the need for a raid suit. It just feels right for characters like Sanji, Jimbei and Luffy
i hated the raid suit so much. Tbh if sanji had kept it he wouldn’t have been my favorite character anymore lol
I like the little detail, the finely honed color of arms, even tho sanji has only been seen using armament maybe twice. Maybe hes been training it in secret or hes using it more often than anyone realizes, just covered in flames.
This is exactly why we call him *Winsmoke Sanji*
Feels like they finally put just as much energy into Sanji as the other characters now.
Sanjis main theme and germas theme song fusing together since ifrit jambe is a combination of sanjis speed and germas strength is just so logical and awesome

Saying out loud these different cooking techniques (i guess?) and htting queen is so good writing. It feels so impactful i love it.
He's been doing that since day one. Calling out parts of the body he's hitting as if using proper ingredients and animal parts. Most of his moves are also just direct food & cooking references.
Im in love how they transitioned from the Germa Ost to Sanji´s new Remixed Jazz Ost, when he calls the enhancements (Judges Science) Tools that strenghten his actual learned Abilitys (Diable Jambe) that represent his human side. Making it very clear Sanji still and always will be himself instead of a Puppet created by Judge. Amazing! They drove that point home later on with the inner monolog but just shows that everything was very well planned out.

And here I was thinking the animators only loved Zoro. I can see why they played this episode in a theater. The people of Toei were probably ecstatic about drawing Sanji doing a Rider Kick.

Queen is the strongest 2nd commander we’ve seen yet. I’d even put him over people like jinbei and killer. His endurance stamina and durability is literally crazy. Then his abilities are hard to overcome also
He’s easily above killer easily. I could see Jimbei being on par with him and eventually surpassing him

I was disappointed when Luffy recruited Jinbei. He doesn't fit in the crew. I would have love Carrot to take his spot. Carrot's Sulong ability could be fun to see evolve.
