I am so proud of Toei. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Sanji fan, but this animation was exactly what he deserved. 10/10, let's hope Zoro vs. King and Sanji vs. Queen get good animations too.
the new sfx for his skywalk is phenomenal, its a lot more subtle than the old one but still somehow manages to elevate how insane running in mid air is, great job toei

What I really love about Sanji is how much he shows, and is infused with, the power of love and passion. You can clearly see in this scene how much more powerful Sanji got just by his love of his crew, and the people he wants to protect. His passion for good and not wanting to see others hurt makes him so powerful. There's not too many people in the series that truly show that better than Sanji. Remember initially when he clashed with King, he was in the raid suit, and he could not match King at all. Here he's clashing with King without the Raid Suit, and managed to not get knocked down. When King slashed his sword Down, Sanji used that to propel downwards for an Aerial kick at Queen. He's managed to attack and clash with both King and Queen without the Raid suit, and no current upgrades since Whole Cake Island, and honestly since post time skip.
Him using King’s strength to propel himself into Queen was smart, but also it looks like he was just overpowered by King judging by the fact King’s sword went down instead of being knocked up. Sanji was beating Queen pretty good, but in his exchanges with King it was King coming out on top, he lucked out with Queen blasting him away as you can see he wasn’t going to react well to King’s attack. This battle could’ve ended against Sanji’s favor had King not placed higher priority in killing Zoro while he’s down.
@@bobawaysiad8907 it wouldn't matter if he was overpowered by King because at the end of the day, he didn't take any damage from the slash, and used it to his advantage. It would make more sense to mention that he was overpowered by King, if King would have knocked him into the ground and he was damaged. The point is not to say that Sanji is more powerful than King, or equal to King, but that he improved since his last clash with King, and that shows a lot of improvement considering he had no current upgrades as of recent at this point. The true strength of a fighter is shown when they're faced with adversity and how they handle it. This shows how great of a fighter Sanji is.

I got into OP because of Saboudy vids on YT and hearing the Pacifista and Kizaru’s laser sounding like Gundams. The anime just makes some of the coolest random sounds idk.

Man if one piece goes into another timeskip like maybe a one year one. I could see sanji finally embraces his history and becoming insanely smart like his father almost to the point if being the smartest person. Combined with food and fighting he is final level with suit. (Food knowledge makes u stronger too so if he knee everything about food and cooking he’ll be unstoppable unlocking haki too would be key as his family had the whole east blue)
Considering how fight choreography overall in one piece can be a bit bland and possibly its weakest aspect this scene felt so dynamic, volatile and unpredictable.
Even before his germa genes/enhancements kicked in, he only ever used the raid suit for its invisibility or for the durability of the suit. Even without the raid suit he’s still just as fast/strong with his haki and Diable Jambe

These Skywalk sounds are just music to my ears and the aerial camera shots are so good it's like you're flying with him.
