I wonder if the reason the Roger pirates all started laughing at laughtale was that joyboy had sealed, not an attack, but maybe his awakened heartbeat/essence/ability-to-liberate-others into something that was released somehow. Maybe all the guides they followed to get there also implied that "only luffy/joyboy" could access the one piece even if someone else found it. Being the strongest crew they ignored that and pursued the adventure figuring they could power through whatever barrier was in their way. The entire adventure they all got hyped going "what an amazing path to follow," and the laughing at the end was essentially accepting/respecting that their was once a pirate who could out play them all so well from the past. Imu recognized the feeling of JoyBoy. Like Luffy felt Shanks deal with Green Bull when he was in Wano. The feeling of your enemy being back in the world would make a character like Imu scream.

After this chapter, it's about 99% confirmed for me that Luffy will somehow travel back to the past, 900 years ago, and become the "original Joyboy." Ever since Toki's introduction, the time travel aspect hasn't left my mind. Oda didn't introduce that for no reason. So far, we've seen time travel to the future, but not to the past. The One Piece world could be stuck in an eternal time loop (like in the Netflix series *Dark*). This current chapter, in my opinion, gives strong hints in this direction: 1. The silhouette of Joyboy could be a perfect match for Luffy. 2. Everything that Joyboy said... just sus. He specifically emphasized that Emeth wouldn't open/use the knot for a very, very long time. 3. Emeth actually said that Luffy looks like Joyboy. Yes, I see the point that he might be referring to Luffy's Gear 5 form. Sure, that's possible. But in my opinion, "You look just like him" suggests a general resemblance. 4. You might think, "I failed to make him king" refers to the war back then and basically the "throne." But it could just as well be a hint towards the "Pirate King." We mustn't forget that it doesn't necessarily have to be a classic "happy ending." For us, it's absolutely clear that Luffy has to become the Pirate King. But the ending could just as easily be a time loop or maybe even a bad ending. We don't know. We should also remember that Oda once mentioned in an interview that the end of One Piece will be sadder than Ace's death. Of course, this statement shouldn't be taken too literally. Oda has made some statements in the past that haven't come true. I still think it's important to keep this in mind when talking about the possibility of a guaranteed happy ending for One Piece... that's anything but guaranteed...
Take keen note of the fact that Emmet's conqueror's haki. This proves again how dominant haki is to devil fruits. However, luffy must also recognize from this, that he has a far way to go.

When you mentioned the moment of the knotted rope being infused with haki and once the knot was untied releases the haki...I am remind with the Straw hats were separated by Kuma and Nami has on the Weather island...she as a moment where the Wizard old man shows Nami the Wind Knot which is a rope with knots and each knot as type of wind infused with it and once the knot is untied the wind is released. Also this might have connection to Black Blades in one piece too.

I saw a video awhile back about Buggys fruit being the power that split the Ponegliphs into pieces (they used to be one giant piece, they are indestructible and in perfect pieces, exactly buggies ability) And having that connect to the very beginning of the story being one of the first side character\villains we meet! Its poetry and beautiful writing having his fruit be one big part of the answer staring at us right in the face the whole time! Makes so much sense!

I still think Joy boy and Luffy are one and the same. Luffy ends up finding the one piece but is stopped by Blackbeard or WG, thus forcing him to travel back in time, causing the void century to begin. I’m still not exactly sure how the straw hats will go back in time but my guess would be some kind of devil fruit power or a reaction with Luffy’s Sun God powers with Blackbeard’s black hole, dark dark fruit. Joy boy wearing giants’ clothes makes sense because it’ll be one of the last outfits or islands Luffy goes to before finding the one piece. Also, the only way Luffy will be powerful enough to fight the WG would be in his giant form. And maybe in the future he’s mastered his powers so much that he stays giant

When learning how the Elders were handled in this chapter, as well as the entire Arc, I began to wonder if the Rocks pirates would've really stood a chance against them like the SH & their allies did if not better?
Likely they would have, the crew included 3 future emperors and Rocks... More importantly I think we must realize they chose not to fight because without a Joyboy the crew was beneath council interference.

I have good feeling that Kagurabachi, Gachiakuta, Dandadan and Boruto Two Blue Vortex have good chance to be the new gen. Finally we get a good glimpse of JoyBoy
I firmly believe gachiakuta deserves far more coverage and support, with bones picking it up i am slightly concerned for the quality of the animation but i'm hopeful and will trust bones until the series releases.
The 3 biggest new series for 2025-2029 is Dandadan, Kaiju no. 8 and Kagurabachi. This arc i think showed the story needs one more timeskip (not too long between 6-12 months) and this should happen on Elbaf
my theory on Gorosei is that Imu made them to be puppets that control people, imu made them with devilfruit power and imu controlls them, its more realistic that way if 5 elderly people control government instead of unknown person controlling it, they arent human and i think thats why saturn didnt die and by the way, i think haki made thum human form cuz they ARE effects of devil fruit, imu mightve just did what Paid did in naruto too, granting dead corpses powers and controlling them like puppet
I think we still have a tiny bit of egghead left, not alot but like maybe 1 chapter more but still some thing are hanging in their air before we head to Elbaf, Saturn is still on the island leaving his fate as "defeated or dead" up in the air (which one or the other SHOULD happen), the marines are sill around egghead even if they are unconscious including Kizaru and his internal debate, Lilith is still on the ship along with York also still on egghead and Bonney and Kuma also at the end of their egghead story

We mustn't forget that it doesn't necessarily have to be a classic "happy ending." For us, it's absolutely clear that Luffy has to become the Pirate King. We should also remember that Oda once mentioned in an interview that the end of One Piece will be sadder than Ace's death. Of course, this statement shouldn't be taken too literally. Oda has made some statements in the past that haven't come true. I still think it's important to keep this in mind when talking about the possibility of a guaranteed happy ending for One Piece... that's anything but guaranteed...

If I'm not wrong the Gorosei were only able to regenerate when they're using their DF powers, if it's the only way to regenerate then using a direct powerful C.Haki to return to human/mortal form they can wound them.

I still think Joy boy and Luffy are one and the same. Luffy ends up finding the one piece but is stopped by Blackbeard or WG, thus forcing him to travel back in time, causing the void century to begin. I’m still not exactly sure how the straw hats will go back in time but my guess would be some kind of devil fruit power or a reaction with Luffy’s Sun God powers with Blackbeard’s black hole, dark dark fruit. Joy boy wearing giants’ clothes makes sense because it’ll be one of the last outfits or islands Luffy goes to before finding the one piece. Also, the only way Luffy will be powerful enough to fight the WG would be in his giant form. And maybe in the future he’s mastered his powers so much that he stays giant
