Taz learned how to fight and combined it with his passion for the character and his acting talent to give us some real live Sanji done perfectly right. What a legend.

Sanji's fights in LA look so genuine. I mean there's some wirework against the fishmen, but when you watch the actor he really has a passion for the fight style
This is the movie where I want people fly and the fight scene looked like it's a Stephen Chow movie. zoro and sanji can just dash across the screen and sends people flying everywhere.
2:40-2:46 From what I can tell (I know about the show just haven't seen or read much of the anime and manga), apart from that being a run of Zoro and Sanji (and basically the entire straw hat crew) to not bad mouth Nami, it's also Sanji's rule not to insult a woman. I just know it's his and Zeff's rule to never harm a woman.
Taz Skylar had to learn both cooking and fighting for this role, and he nailed it. He also does Sanji's coolness and charm really well, while not going too overboard with the horniness the character is known for in the manga/anime.
I hope for the next season they do less quick cuts of kicks, like in his final fight, it’s disorienting to go from shot to shot in such quick procession, it also makes the impacts feel lesser than as we don’t see the full swing and impact of the hits
Something that I really liked is how his kick actually have weight in that, while at the same time respecting the agility his fight style has in the anime.
He was made for this role. just like every other character in the OP live adaption. I had my doubts about this when I first heard of it, but so far, it's the only live adaption anime I enjoy. I like to think of live action adaptions of animated shows to be like fanfics. They don't follow the story exactly like the original, but still make a show worth watching.

Or they will cut out entire thriller bark and have brook's debut in some other way. Ofc they can still keep the iconic moments there without unnecessary scenes.
I really like what they did with the choreography in the live action. And the actor has training and make it look really powerfull
3:03 I swear I'm watching for the plot, but this was an unexpected bonus.
😂😂 true
GYAT
Sanji's obviously a baker, dude has some fine cake for sure :D
@@redwitch12 Can't believe I didn't think of that one XD XD XD
What do you mean it's not the plot?
2:33 zoro's walk here is so smooth
Of all the fights in the live action Sanji ones were the most fun to watch for me, Taz's so slick! They really got Sanji fighting style right.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Taz during his writing workshop called Anyone Can Write. He was charming, informative, kind, and very handsome as himself there, too. Fast forward just a few years or so and I never thought I would watch him on Netflix as a great supporting actor of a hit show.
I adore Taz Skylar Sanji! The show is great, I never expect much from live-actions but Netflix nailed this one, with both cast and story-pacing. Every actor was casted so well, it was also a surprise to see Jeff Ward as Buggy, he is excellent as Buggy. 10/10 casting
Taz learned how to fight and combined it with his passion for the character and his acting talent to give us some real live Sanji done perfectly right. What a legend.
sanji attitude towards zeff has been pass down to zoro hahaha
1:34 unrelated note:
the smoothest slice ever 😂😂😂
My favorite ❤️ Taz did amazing job in portraiting Sanji.
I love how they even have the jazz music playing when he fights 0:16
Knowing that Taz have short hair.. so the hair flip must be on purpose! 😅😅
I like that in the arlong park fight he doesn't even take his hands out of his pockets before he started kicking. I had to go to the anime version because bro whaaa. I wasn't an OP fan but that was the first time I got that feeling of "shit, that was badass".
Ngl when I heard a One Piece live action series was in the works, I had low expectations. But after seeing it, I must say they didn’t slack off. The actors, the producers, makeup artists, everyone did a great job. As for the actor who played Sanji, he really wowed me. I’m looking forward to season 2 😁
Cotellete! Collier! Epaule! Poitrine!
Mouton Shot!
Taz is amazing and a young god, but don't forget Mackenyu who ALREADY knew katana before taking this project!
the actor actually trained for the role imagine one day those skills help him protect himself or someone
The fighting is so slapstick and goofy i love it
"Fishman karate" lol
I'm surprised Sanji never broke his legs.
Then you don’t know Sanji
Sanji is built different
Because he is germa , even without the awakened genes he was born with a modified body , that's why he is able to generate fire in his legs and still not burn
Sanji uses armament haki here😂
The dude once kick a sea cow in the neck, that leg is made out iron
"...you'll fit in just fine."
wearing tuxedo while fighting so attractive❤❤
i totally love sanji. i loved him - he was my favourite character and he still is. please, keep it up!! i can't wait to see more of this serie. taz skylar, and i really agree with you guys, is the perfect actor for sanji!! awesome work you did and do skylar - i can totally see that taz skylar loves his character - pefect harmony - keep up the awesome work all of you, actors and crew!!🥰😍😍😍😍🤩😊😉 i can't wait to see more!!
I myself work as a chef and waiter. This is just another Tuesday haha splendid job casting this show
"All great fighters call out their finishing moves."
I love that even in live action, Sanji is observing Anime Rule #4.
If Taz is this good now, I can't wait to see his Diable Jambe. Hopefully they make it to Enies Lobby.
I loved him the moment he came on screen! Omg dude is a perfect Sanji!
Sanji's fights in LA look so genuine. I mean there's some wirework against the fishmen, but when you watch the actor he really has a passion for the fight style
To me, Taz Skylar is Sanji, couldn’t have done a better job casting
This is the movie where I want people fly and the fight scene looked like it's a Stephen Chow movie. zoro and sanji can just dash across the screen and sends people flying everywhere.
they should accelerate Sanji's kicks just a bit more, they look kinda slow for him..
0:57 Wtf that glitch 😭🤣
2:40-2:46 From what I can tell (I know about the show just haven't seen or read much of the anime and manga), apart from that being a run of Zoro and Sanji (and basically the entire straw hat crew) to not bad mouth Nami, it's also Sanji's rule not to insult a woman. I just know it's his and Zeff's rule to never harm a woman.
He did my favorite straw hat justice even took kick boxing classes and for that i love him
Taz Skylar had to learn both cooking and fighting for this role, and he nailed it.
If they weren't in a fight, Sanji would never let Zoro hear the end of it for that 2 slices of bread remark in response to his cooking.
Sanji fighting with his hands in his pockets. So much like the manga version...
Holy smoke ! Sanji is badass and adorable!
I hope we get to Enies Lobby, I want to see Live Action Diable Jambe 😂
I'm actually keeping my fingers crossed for that
Taz Skylar need Scott Adkins & Lateef Crowder to be his tutor to polish more kicking skills for next OP series.
0:02 Looks like Nick Fury as a pirate.
I was genuinely waiting for him to say "motherfucker"
What in the multiverse fvck is this HAHAHAHA
Fun fact it was actually him, he intended to track Luffy to introduce him into the ACU initiative
The black one
Love every second of tazs performance!
1:20 maybe you gotta get back to the kitchen got me😂
Something that I really liked is how his kick actually have weight in that, while at the same time respecting the agility his fight style has in the anime.
0:34 Weakness...identified!
“Hey what are you doi-*loud high pitched scream*”
Sanji was managed to take down all of arlond crews with his hands in h his pocket and carrying buggy’s head around his back! Proups to him😅
Sanji is an awesome fighter!👊✊️
I refuse to die not until Taz gets to play Sanji in Whole Cake Island.
For Sanji, it looks like they tried to get someone like Taron Edgerton aka Eggsy
Black leg Sanji 🤩
Idc what people say. I want to watch this now! This seems like a deceptively awesome show!
I hate it, that people hate him. He is a badass and worked really hard to prepare for the role.
I can't wait for LA sanji to goes though the cake island arc.
"Fishman karate? The 'Dane Cook' of Martial Arts?"
I can't wait for the second season and see Mr. Prince in action! 😎✨
The actor did a great job as Sanji and his fights are awesome. But I can't help but see Beck Bennet every time I glance at him.
Beck Bennett looks EXACTLY like the young Sanji in the show lol
Mother of Gay Bowser, Sanji's a badass!!!
Que sanji lindo ❤❤❤
I love how they add the high temp jazz music for Sanji 😊
he is handsome with bangs
Sanji is the best character 👏
For just 3 mins he trained continuously for a year
But it will be easy for him to throw some kicks in upcoming seasons
That fishmans face after sanji’s kick was blocked 😂
All his fights in 3 minutes 😢 he is my favorite character! He needs more screen time ❤
The Fish men were so cool in the live action. Even though they weren't to "scale" (get it) it still worked out fine and the action is great
The casual conversation as the best duo basically off like 20 guys is so awesome.
That's my boy!
I like how live action Sanji is more just 'oh hey, women!' :D than a full on pervert
