Idk what it is buddy… I’ve just always liked the D handles. I use the Flex with the drop motor of course but the XGT D handle is my Baby for sure👌. The Bulldog is a champ man. A lot of people I see out on the job use them
I'm the other way, I usually prefer the drop motor type, but this in line D handle is changing my mind. I've got to get a few more brands soon, was always told if you're getting a rotary, don't ever get anything but a Bosch. I'm sure that was more true ten years ago.
The runout (spindle wobble) on that second one is crazy. I just bought the same exact drill (marketed under the Harbour freight Bauer name,, brushless 20V sds Plus) and I am seriously thinking of returning it.
Did I see that right - Is the v20 faster and easier than the bigger 26? Which did you like more ? How many 1/2" x 4" deep holes you think you can get out of a 8ah battery?
Yeah, surprised me as well. I want to like the 20 better only for ergonomics, the shorter body makes it more comfortable for use. After using them recently for tile removal/chipping. I'll have to revisit this video soon. The 26 did the job where the 20 was struggling with the tile removal. Whew, from an 8ah....a lot would be my answer. These batteries just run forever before they need a re charge. I mean it depends greatly on what material you're drilling, but I can't recall ever needing a fresh battery while drilling holes on a job, BUT i'm only drilling a couple dozen holes max in softer materials.
I'd think it's more personal preference. I find the longer D handles more comfortable, able to get the tool more parallel to the floor in a more comfortable way. They both have their uses, tight spots, small bathrooms. But in general, I like the D handle for tile removal and the drop handle for general drilling.
@@ProToolsApproved Thanks for the info. I haven't used a D handle, but I was thinking it would be better for tile removal, since you can get a better angle on the floor more comfortably too. Thanks!

No one would blame you.

Do you find the drop motor or D handle better for tile removal?
