The -22 is 29mm shorter. That's a huge bonus when working in crawl spaces.
The new one has a little bit less punch because of the impact control suspension thing. It takes away some of the energy. Nevertheless i would go for the new one because of better ergonomics.....
Why you are not using ProCore batteries ?
They only improve performance in biturbo tools, which these are not. I only have 8 & 12ah in procore
@@MountainMulletthey are also charging faster and long lasting ... I'm trying to only have ProCore, but they already released a new battery version few weeks ago 😕
So do you think they're identical motor and mechanism? Although you did say the old one had higher RPM.
I do like that they gave it a single finger trigger. Much easier to weild one handed when you can user 4 fingers instead of 3.
I haven't checked yet but I think it's a larger hammer as it gets almost the same impact with around half the RPM. Motor sounds very different. I think it's a full rework, which is why they've only got it the same and not like 20% better
Also please check your Reddit chat. I messaged you there but it got flagged as potentially offensive 😂
@@MountainMullet i got one 27 days ago saying happy new year, but nothing else
0:20 the 21mm rating prob comes from the EPTA test
I always assumed it was because the brushed version was 20mm, so for the brushless they just added 1. The 22 has slightly lower impact energy, so I guess Bosch are being more holistic about the max rating.
EPTA plus maybe torque or motor power?
It references 2.1 Joules, not 21mm
any idea how it compares to gbh 18v-26 and 28 c?
Yes! I have them both and while I haven't done runtime tests, I personally wouldn't use drills that big for climbing purposes.
I'm really happy that i'm not your neighbour ;)
Haha definitely! Although my neighbours say they don't mind I try to keep this to a minimum, maybe doing some testing every couple of months
Only Bosch would release a tool that perfomce worse than the predecessor
