Hi Barry and Maxine. I think it’s great that you put this vlog out , it definitely raises awareness. It’s very brave of you to share this news with your followers. Im just so glad that it’s been detected early and that they are monitoring you. It must of been so hard for you to go to the meet up with so much on your mind so well done to you both. It’s true that you never know what anyone else is going through, people think that other people have perfect lives and it’s not always the case, you don’t know what anyone is going through. You can hide all sorts behind a smile. I will be following your journey and I wish you well, I have followed you and Max for a long time now and feel like I know you guys. Look after yourselves and I wish you both a very happy Christmas and a happy new year xx

I am a 22 year lung cancer survivor, lost my left lung, never smoked. Cancer was found as a coincidence, checking if I had fully recovered from pneumonia. You both seem to be proceeding so sensibly. Prayers for you and Maxine, and please do keep us updated.

Someone out there will be watching whilst going through the same or worried about symptoms. I do hope all is well for you and we will all be there to support you even if it means throwing a couple of dollars in the pot for tests etc.! I have always had a high PSA at its highest it was 24 , I have had a TURP (Prostate scrape) because of my enlarged prostate i had Urine retention and was cathaterised for 12 months. Stay possitive Bazza, all the best. Merry christmas to you all over there.

My husband found out he had prostrate cancer from a normal blood test in January 2020. After various tests like yourself he was recommended to have his whole prostrate removed which then happened in June 2020 - during lockdown so I couldn’t visit him in hospital so a difficult time time for us.
Luckily he recovered well and so far tests have shown all is well - he has now yearly blood test to check it.
He was very lucky it was caught early and dealt with before it spread.
He does have side effects from the operation but we both say the important thing is he is healthy.
His brother has since been diagnosed & had same operation so our sons will have to have extra tests in the future.
    Good luck Barry. X🤞🤞

Hi Both, I totally understand. I got breast cancer stage 3. Got biopsy with only lidocaine rubbed on. With my mri I had to lie face down with my boob's hanging through two holes. I was shaking so much I couldn't get on the bed. I got 6mths of chemo, an op, then 9 daily sessions of radiotherapy. So far so good. I got a mild tranquiliser for my other two mri tests and it did help. Like you I told everyone I knew. It was easier on me. All the best from someone who knows only too well.❤

Very informative Bazza, its very frightening to experience these health hiccups. It seems that you have a lot of positive medical analysis to date. There will be millions of men going through this who will not go to the doctor so its great that you have Vlogged this very worrying situation. I am your age and a couple of years ago was diagnossd with 3 breast lesions, as a stage 4 unknown mass. I had biopsies done, it was supposed to be 80% probably cancerous. My specialist was very surprised that they were all benign. These lesions can be as a result of inflamation and infections. Biopsies can also awaken dormant cancer cells to activate!!! Anyway, at our age we have to be prepared and face it head on. I send mega Hugs to you and Max. I will be praying for excellent results in January Bazza. ❤️‍🩹

Stay positive, Bazza! I went through a similar trial this past May when my annual PSA result went from its usual 1.2 - 1.4 to 9.2! Needless to say, like you, I was freaking out. Six weeks later, and after lots of worrying, I had another blood test done and my PSA was back to 1.5. My urologist couldn't explain the sudden rise but told me he would see me in one year for another test, so I suppose he wasn't overly concerned about it. I have gotten an exam yearly since my 50th birthday because my father had very aggressive prostate cancer. On a scale of 1 to 10, I was told that my dad's cancer was an 11. Sadly, he did not live long after the diagnosis as the cancer soon spread. So, as you pointed out in your video, it's VERY important to get checked regularly, regardless of how uncomfortable the exam is. Here's hoping that your next checkup is normal!

I feel the same as you about getting an MRI, I hate it. They have "Wide Bore" MRI scanners now which are much more open and less confining than the traditional MRI scanners and they are just as accurate. Hopefully when I need my next MRI it can be done in one of those.

Sending you Love, Light and Healing Energy. I'm not a doctor, but I have been doing a lot of research on fasting and other diet formats to fight cancer (I've had family members in the last 5 years dealing with Cancer). Anyway, from what I have researched. Cancer cells feed off of Glucose (sugar), if you fast or just take out sugar in your diet it should help to shrink the cancer. On TH-cam, you can watch Diary of a CEO - The Cancer Expert, Also Diary of a CEO has a discussion with a fasting expert. Also on TH-cam is a documentary called Fasting: The Healer Within. Good luck with everything and I am praying for you both.

Weldone I hope this will help many here in UK. The PSA test here leads to many questions and like USA the advanced test is limited to local NHS budgets. Both of you have a wonderful christmas. 😍😍

Unfortunately my husband has it and doctors did not catch it in time his psa 1708 and went to his spine and he collapsed they did durgery and now hes walking his psa is now 0.05 after 3 years he still has cancer and the tablets is keeping it stable. Life will feel strange at 1st, but I wish all the hugs to you and your family. The annoying thing is travel insurance they charge over £3000 it's not anyone fault if you have an illness. You do go into darkness, but on the other hand, doctors can help. You are correct. Be kind. You just don't know how they are. X

Clermont radiology is amazing at getting you in quick and much cheaper. I had to have an MRI of my brain and it was terrible. They put a basket over your head and cover it with a blanket. I’m mildly claustrophobic so had to close my eyes and pretend I was on a cruise ship😂
Sorry you are going through this. Hope everything works out for you ❤

You don't get general anaesthetic in uk for biopsy its just a local but nhs have 2 week rule to see specialist from gp referral which they do
