I've done the research, i've read about vaping long before i started and its is a lot better than cigarettes, its still not healthy but if you don't use Black market THC pods or liquid some guy from china made, but properly made e-liquid made in the USA, then its ok. I know you were never a smoker on the way you talk about vaping, WTF do you know about something you've never actually researched, you just believe whatever the US "Fake News" journalists and the Government controlled "Scientists" tell you. Lets be perfectly honest, the US government does not care about the Citizen's health or why is health care so expensive ? Why is it when the US sues a Pharmaceutical Business when they kill people for less than what they make from the profit, that's not exactly punishing the business. Of course the US is gonna be against vaping because of one major reason and its not even a surprised, its about MONEY. The US states, make a certain amount of money from Cigarette Companies every year from people dying of lung cancer. If people were to vape and stop damaging their lungs, that money would go away so obviously the US wants to ban something that will stop making them money. Same reason why the US won't ban taxing their citizens even tho the US was created because of ONE Tax but yet we're getting TAXED for everything, including when we die, we get taxed but yet the US still taxes us. They rely on MONEY and that's how they get their money and they'll do whatever it takes to make money so they'll tax you, they'll let you die and they'll let these "businesses" in the US make drugs to help kill us so they can make more money. SO PLZ, stop talking about vaping because you don't know WTF you are talking about and it just pisses me off because i know, but you're using your platform to talk shit about something you don't know.

fun fact, despite me and my husband being in good finances, he stopped getting drinks/snacks from the gas station because all he hears in his head is "going inside getting some BS".
I bought an Irving gift card that I only let myself use at the pump. No going inside at all! (Also helps me not have to see the vapes and things after quitting nicotine)
Caleb - it would be good to see some people on the show who have really good finances. And you can dig into the behaviors that made them successful. Doesn’t even have to be high earners, it can be relatable people who have a high Hammer Financial Score with reasonable income.
That would be pretty interesting, similar to everyday millionaires but you get to see the small details. I wonder if he does follow ups on some of the people that appear on here too.
I am noticing more and more people in the comments every week talking about how they are well on their way towards getting out of debt, paying off cards, cars, or how the show has given them a wake up call... really cool to see! ✨🙌🏻 Loving the follow up channel as well - it deserves more love though!!
It's my favorite part about this channel! Much like on channels that focus on exercise and healthy eating people talking about going from 500 pounds to 350 pounds by changing their lifestyle. You can't help but feel joy for them and show support. ❤️❤️
Love those comments, loathe the discrimination judgmental comments that have nothing to do with their finances. Last may was my final payment, credit scores improved and nothing looming over my head anymore, now in savings mode
It helped me hahahaha not in debt right now, but helped me cuting off my unnecessary expenses but I also see the show to watch people with way worst decisions than me
Literally every guest has pets. These adorable critters keep you poor and limit your mobility and flexibility. Wait till you’re wealthy to get a critter
Not this guy’s situation obviously, but I have a husky in Texas in a small apartment but only because he followed me home from work malnourished and without a collar, and when we called the chip company, the owner hung up and blocked our number so he was clearly abandoned. Obviously I took him in and I’m always careful of getting his energy out and keeping him out of the heat. Just giving some perspective that it’s possible to take care of husky in a hot state ❤
I started watching the show 4 months ago, I've paid down $5000 in debt and was able to make it through an expensive unexpected custody battle. Thank you!
Well the problem is that Caleb loves to say how bad vaping is but he doesn't even know what he's talking about. As someone who's been vaping since 2014, i can tell Not only does Caleb never smoked before, he doesn't even know what he is talking about, the only thing you gets correct is that vaping is not healthy, that i can agree to. But Vaping is still better if you buy American made e-liquid, than its fine because the crap that liquid china makes is horrible for anyone. Oh you can use china made mods and tanks but never buy their liquid.
as a young 20-something, these videos are so incredibly helpful/educational, considering i never had any sort of financial literacy taught to me growing up or in high school. some of these are just… a perfect lesson on what NOT to do. thank you for making such quality content caleb
Us not being taught financial literacy in HS has gotta be by design imo. If it were taught nobody would make BS purchases and banks wouldn’t be able to profit off debt. In some sad sense our economy would collapse if everyone knew the importance of money because people wouldn’t spend that much anymore, leading to less $ in circulation leading to companies becoming poorer leading to stock market crash due to poor earnings performance leading to no jobs 😵💫 Just my theory tho
@@jimbomacgee3499 i completely agree. i never had any classes about mortgages, money management, budgeting, nothing. it’s doing a disservice to the future generations, but it’s all by design
Why is it that people with no money are obsessed with their credit score. "Waaah I wanna buy a house one day" With what money for a down payment smart guy?
@@thejames3431 i can see your point but these people don’t know anything about loans, interest rates, credit cards, or anything. have you seen some of the car loans that people on this show have willingly signed up for? they don’t know that credit scores are worth anything because they don’t even know when they’re signing up for 72 months with 20% apr💀 i agree with the commenter who said it’s just a grade to them and grades are easy to track. that is absolutely how these people view credit scores. they don’t know anything beyond that
I think sharing how long it would take to pay off the balance is powerful. I think hearing the total amount of fees and interest the guests pay each month/year would also be powerful.
Man is over the credit card limit (I didn't even know that was possible) and buys every apple product on the market. Sheep mentality is strong with this one.
Today I met another Caleb Hammer fan in the wild! I was returning Amazon packages (cutting down on bullshit) and had this video paused on my phone as I was bringing up the return code. I was confused when the Amazon worker asked me if that was the guy who talks about finances, but then was excited to meet someone else who was a fellow fan. I feel like that was the universe affirming that I indeed do not need to buy BS on Amazon. 😂
I work at a hospital and I was listening to Caleb one day and the Dr I was working with that day came out of his office and was like "oh, I love that guy!"
bro im 27 ive been working the same job 6 years now garage door technician my weeks go as low as 850-1300 i pay all my bills on time rent with bills is 1600 total no debt i own two trucks all paid for 07 raider & 07 silverado for work, i spend most my money my cats, groceries and a lot of weed, i sit at home watching these videos wishing i made half as much as some of these ppl not to mention ive NEVER ask my parents for money nor will i ever get a pay day loan i really dont understand how ppl can fuck up so bad
I'm a pen nerd and write a lot of notes for my job and a Parker refill still lasts weeks. I switched to 1 cheapo refillable fountain pen and 1 bottle of Ink will probably last me years now.
@@panicsounds2239 I thought the same thing. I feel like, as far as pens go, micron pens run out quick and I can’t recall a single time even at my most obsessed when I ran through one entire pen in a day, let alone four. And that’s while sometimes even leaving them with no caps on, which will accelerate the drying of the ink.
The greatness of this show is captured in the fact that my wife and I watch every episode over dinner and end up talking over it the entire time. Thank you for the thought provoking content :)
Just paid off over 13k! Took me over a year and a half with bills and my credit score is 795! Thank you Caleb for helping me start and finish my journey!
Had an emergency with my car lately and because of this channel I could pay for it and not put it on a card. It slowed down my debit payment journey but I’m so happy that I could pay for it outright l! It’s the little steps 🎉
This is that financial peace D Ramsey talks about. Responding to an unexpected expense with "okay" vs panic is something everyone should strive for. Following a motorcycle crash a few months ago I paid thousands in medical bills without accruing any debt and I'm so thankful it didn't happen 2 years ago instead.
It's such an incredible feeling honestly. My wife had an unrepairable flat the other month. She called me and said the other tire was a little wore down so I said fine get 2 new ones. "Well it's going to be like $650". I said ok, do it. Didn't have to think about it or crunch the numbers, just got it done and back on the road.
Yesss that's what the emergency fund and cash flow are for! A momentary pause on crushing debt to stay away from accruing more. You're doing amazing! 🎉🎉🎉
I keep watching these to keep myself motivated to pay off all my debt. Started $50k in the hole at the beginning of 2024, $22k left! I salivate at the thought of having no bills aside from rent and just investing everything I've been shovelling into the debt fire. If you're in a similar situation and hopeless, you can do it, I believe in you 🙏 Stay focused friends
Caleb, you have been the little voice in my head that has helped me get my credit from 529 to 643 in just a few short months! I got a secured discover card that i use twice a month for gasoline, and in 2 months ill get my $200 back! I have $4000 in savings and now im working toward buying a new mobile home. Your videos and roasts have informed and advised me and I feel less stressed and more in control of my LIFE ❤ you are a blessing and I hope people really take what you have to say and turn their lives around! Luckily I started at 0 and didnt need to dig myself out of a hole, but the inspiration your content gives me is a true gift. Thank you to the team as well!! Wouldnt be a Financial Audit without you guys 😊
Yep and everything he ever buys has to be "the best" because it might be the tool he needs for his big break that gets him rich quick. This kind of mentality is so painful to watch. It's like they heard the expression "you have to speculate to accumulate" and thought that means you have to go on shopping sprees instead of investing into actual businesses.
this show made me realize that many of the people my age (26) "living their best life" are really & *stacking their worst debt* and ruining their futures. I never understood how people kept all this up until I heard the real CC & loan debt on here.
@@MPPG663 an excuse used by every generation. as a doomist it is an easy excuse to be lazy, give up and do nothing. or you make the best of whats left (and that could be 5, 10, 20 years) throwing it away now is a poor reason.
One of my friends is exactly like that. Acting like he is rich and "Made it" when clearly he doesn't own anything and is drowning in debt and interest.
GREAT EPISODE! I was already worried that Caleb won't be able to loose it anymore after seeing so many terrible financial situations 😂 your passion for helping people is amazing!
@@benjaminfitzgerald7011 he has room for improvement for sure. The amount of people addicted to energy drinks is crazy. Most of my coworkers suck down two a shift (while eating candy) and can't connect that their anxiety issues are directly related to their energy drink habit. Hopefully Caleb will preach more good health habits in the future but that may be a whole other niche that someone could do with a similar format.
It’s really because he’s nervous and his sympathetic nervous system is deactivating his salivary glands. This can still happen to you when you’re hydrated.
Forcing my teenage kids to watch this show is the smartest thing i've ever done. hopefully they continue to learn that making stupid decisions to give off the illusion that you have money will f*** you in the end. Go Tigers!
Caleb's approach makes me a better parent. He really has tough love down to a fine art and his videos give me the mindeset I need to follow though with my kid.
This dude went from full time at a stable job to half time to sell solar then went into private security because it failed. What a series of decisions he made
I was about to start a master's program that would have put me 50,000 further into student debt when I already have 40,000 dollars of student debt I've never been able to pay off because my degree did not leave me to a career. Instead I found the same program at a different university starting just one month later that only cost ten thousand dollars for the two-year degree. For a guaranteed job of 80k starting. It was hard giving up the job I enjoyed and it's going to be a hard two years living with my parents while study this but finally going to be financially stable
33 y/o here I stumbled upon your channel and it's been a huge wakeup call for me. I'm now investing in the stock market and got a part time job just to build my emergency fund quicker. Oh and all my credit debt is paid off! Thank you for making this type of content.
Yeah. I think he's not as financially literate as he thinks he is but what he really means is "I know why everything I'm doing is wrong but not how to course correct".
I love Caleb but I'm kind of disappointed he is supporting generative AI video, something that takes away jobs from creatives. Most AI models are built on stolen assets from artists. 58:00
I used to do door-to-door sales and it’s absolutely miserable. I would work 6 days a week sun up to sun down and in every type of weather, no money if I didn’t make a sale. I sold satellite tv and was pretty good at it but it was absolute misery. I remember when I finally quit I was looking out the window in the car seeing all the houses pass and realizing I NEVER had to knock on another door again was the happiest day ever!
This episode has explained the debt snowball better than I have ever understood before! I was doing the same thing and paying a little extra on every card! This makes so much more sense! Thanks Caleb! It finally clicked!
Saved up all last year and paid off my car in one fell swoop. Used the extra cash for a downpayment on a (very small) house! 24 years old, working as a full time artist in my field of my BFA degree :) mortage and taxes about the same as what rent would be at a decent apartment, idk if this was the right play but I feel proud 😅 down to just student loans and mortage, no other debts. Working on building my own business WHILE still working full time at my normal job and only using profits of my business to further invest into it. These podcasts get me through the long work weeks 😅
My boyfriend has been listening to me play your videos and he has paid off all his debt from when he was an immature young adult and is now trying to rebuild his credit so that we can buy a house in the near future 🤩
I love this podcast because I'm doing everything right at 18 but I'm still learning about pitfalls for my future such as mortgages and insurance. Cool stuff keep it up
Her admitting that her finances are worse than his, then turning down the offer to come in the show to help her says alot.. and it’s not a positive outlook.

not necessarily. she knows caleb's schtick and if she doesn't think his approach will work for her, i think that's fair. hopefully she'll still take the things he said here to heart, though.
Some taquito math for the non-believers: Got a $17 croissant sandwich from the airport for work (was reimbursed, chill) and all I could think was “BRING A SANDWICH!!” So as soon as I got back, I got a bunch of croissants from Costco for $5.99, some sandwich ingredients from Safeway for $18, and calculated that I saved $50/work week instead of buying the $10 sandwiches from the cafe downstairs :)
@@l-train7876 I wish it were that easy. It’s from getting divorced over four years ago as well as some medical debt both for myself and one of my cats. But I have gone down from $57k at the beginning of the year to $47k now. You just never know someone’s circumstances, which is why people shouldn’t judge. Having debt isn’t always from mishandling money.
I've been watching Caleb for only 2 years now. I have saved a 6-month emergency fund. This has saved me and ensure I don't make decisions out of fear. It has given me the space to plan my next steps with intention and I don't have to take a lower paying job in desperation. Thanks Caleb ❤

@@pinkinhot67 ive been like crazy applying for different scholarships and grants, depending on what kind of career youre going into helps too, i am going to be a teacher and because of the shortage of teachers they are giving me a teacher grant of 7,000+ per year, basically if i DIDNT graduate then that grant turns into a loan, obviously i plan on graduating though haha. Also , look into tuition reimbursement positions. My brothers work offers up to 6000 per year, he works at a manufacturing company, but ive worked at fast food places, daycares, etc. that offer that. Most of the time whatever youre looking to get into, there are jobs you can get that will set you up with reimbursement so you would take out a loan and as long as you pass your job will give you the money you paid, but it takes time. Ive been doing research on it since march and im not going to start my first semester until January, but i have so many small scholarships and grants built up that im not paying any money at all for school, not even books.
@@pinkinhot67 its super cool, its a nice university that would have costed me minimum 15,250$ per year, but my scholarships and grants add to 17,000. Lots of writing essays, asking counselors at the school for advice on good scholarships, the more local the grant the better. Im from michigan and there are a lot of programs you can apply for that require you to have good grades in college but will pay for it in return, as long as youre disciplined so worth it !!!
This drives me crazy! Even while quite stable with no debt other than a mortgage, our hard limit has been once a month at the type of place where two people could eat all in for $40. For an anniversary we might splurge on a slightly nicer spot, but not always, and at times we'd go 8+ weeks without eating out simply because we were in the habit of cooking at home and forgot. I see friends and relatives struggling with debt while going out 1-2 nights per week and it's just insane to me.
That's how you build a trillion dollar company. On the backs of slave labor and propped up by rabid fanbois who will buy whatever you put out, no matter how much you charge.
I want to mention that compression sleeve because I know exactly where he got it. I have one. They are notorious for falling down. They are also made for the purpose of compressing the muscles to relieve aches and pains. The sleeve doesn't do its job at $100 per sleeve
As a physical therapist, I can say that elbow and knee braces are notorious for falling down as they don't have a physical point of contact to prevent that from occurring. Usually taping is better.
I hit a little hiccup in my journey to being debt free. I thought I would be free and clear this week, but I've got $450 left on my credit card. On my current budget, that will be paid in 3 weeks. On the plus side, my credit score is now over 700. Up from a low of 540.

I’m curious to know what an average Americans finances actually look like. I think they would be worse than expected due to several factors, but it would be refreshing if that wasn’t the case.
Caleb- can you make a special episode about pet insurance and what to look for in a policy? I have researched it and most of them have many, many exclusions to the point they don't make sense. I don't think I'm alone in this given the range of people who don't have it. I'm genuinely curious how you selected your policy.

Caleb - it would be good to see some people on the show who have really good finances. And you can dig into the behaviors that made them successful. Doesn’t even have to be high earners, it can be relatable people who have a high Hammer Financial Score with reasonable income.

It's my favorite part about this channel! Much like on channels that focus on exercise and healthy eating people talking about going from 500 pounds to 350 pounds by changing their lifestyle. You can't help but feel joy for them and show support. ❤️❤️

Us not being taught financial literacy in HS has gotta be by design imo. If it were taught nobody would make BS purchases and banks wouldn’t be able to profit off debt. "Waaah I wanna buy a house one day"

Because it’s a “grade.” Everything else is less straightforward.

Nice! 🎉 You’re almost there!!
Way to go! You are sooooo closeeeee!
“Im not like the other guests on here”
Immediately starts with a Best Buy credit card.😂
Been watching Caleb forever. This quickly became my favorite channel and I’ve watched every episode. I’ve gotten myself out of $6k of credit card debt in 3 months bc of Caleb. Thank you to Caleb and his team for giving me something to look forward to multiple times a week ☺️
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bro thats actually nuts! Congrats!
@@lafondla21 thank you so much!! I literally just worked my ass off and put every single penny I had after bills into envelopes labeled with each credit card name, while still making the minimums. Every month I deposited what was in the envelope. That was the only way I was able to make large payments to cut it down faster. But that’s what worked for me! And I am not a credit card person by any means but I’m trying to be lol
I specifically enjoy watching the thumbnails change the first day or two lol theu always get funnier
You always hear about the success stories of entrepreneurship and never the pitfalls and failures of jumping in on a trendy hustle. This guy is a cautionary tale.
Thanks Caleb. Didn’t notice any lip smacking at all until you pointed it out. Now I can never unhear it ever again.
The producers are gunning for Caleb's health. 😆
Hahahahaha, thanks for being a member!
Sweet treat Wednesday
Absolutely 😋😋
Nom nom!!!
The only people who make money with drop shipping these days are people who have been doing it for years and people selling classes on how to do it to people like him.
Caleb and team, can we get one boring episode of an average income earner that doesn’t have insane debts or collections. Think “average American” . I know it won’t be as entertaining but could give some education to wide audience.
Sadly, these episodes ARE the average American. We'd need an "extraordinary American" episode to maybe crack a 5 on the scale.
The average American has this level of debt, what are you on about?
Haha yeah that’s not average, but yes that’d be fun. Maybe someone who is doing well financially but has big goals🤷🏽♀️I’d love to be on the show but we aren’t in a bad situation🤣I’d still want his opinion though on how to buy a house etc etc
I’m curious to know what an average Americans finances actually look like. I think they would be worse than expected due to several factors, but it would be refreshing if that wasn’t the case.
😅 This is the average American.

Whoopsie. Thanks for being a member!
Why does this guy look like every one of my brother's loser friends circa 2015
Hes a normie.
Caleb- can you make a special episode about pet insurance and what to look for in a policy? I have researched it and most of them have many, many exclusions to the point they don't make sense. I don't think I'm alone in this given the range of people who don't have it. I'm genuinely curious how you selected your policy.
Its crazy how many people say they can't afford to save up a $1000 emergency fund but are happy financing a $1200 iphone for 2 years 😂😂
Yeah, or need even have 1k going out in BS spending in a month or two. Like so many guests spend hundreds on BS spending and then complain about not having money for bills.
Caleb knew I was going to lunch at 11:00! Just in time for my sweet treat 🥳
Not sure if they just did a great job editing it out but I'd like to say: the lip smacking does not bother me. I can't even hear it but it's still funny to watch how much it bothers Caleb 😂
Did u just comment to yourself shit breath
