I think the reason wheels are getting heavier for the longer range and speed, because they are targeting riders who will use the wheel as main form of transportation. Those riders are willing to spend more then the rest of that us, who just take wheels out for just a fun ride.
I disagree on this bro.. per example I replace my car for eucs for the last 4 years… 100v and 1800wh more than enough if I need to make a lot of trips yes I need a bigger battery… the problem is the the EUC market is losing the basics of what is to be an EUC rider
I understand that saying that the majority of people don’t do that kind of miles on a EUC to travel max they do 2 ways and I used to do 95km with one charge on my v12hs with no problem to go and coming back from work so was enough battery
I agree. I think small riders just dislike the big wheels because of the weight and size. While bigger stronger riders are able to get everything out of a bigger wheel and actually get range.
Thanks for the mentions :) Yes, I was definitely tempted to buy the Master Pro, to have higher speed and range than the EX20S HT. However, I do want to get something that makes me worry less about the possibility of fire due to water ingress, if ever caught under the rain, or other reason. And keeps 2nd hand value better. So I'll be going for the V13 once it's confirmed to have no issues. Less battery, but 14a 126v charging (+1700w), compared to 10a 100v 1000w max that I do on the EX20S after replacing the fuse for a 15a one, original one was 10a, could fuse charging at 10a. Proper waterproofing, safe very fast charging, Smart BMS (big plus for resale value on 2nd hand market, being able to prove battery health). I think the V13 could be my last wheel of it is very durable, at least until some major improvement happens like different battery technology or something.
The v13 actually has the same pack size as the Sherman S (around 3600wh), inmotion just measures their pack sizes differently but in practice it's the same size.
The euc scene in the uk hasn't taken off like in the states, not such a big market which is why wheels take so long to come here, i have ordered an EX30 i cancelled a S22 order for this wheel... 4000w C40 motor at 134v is going to be a power house. i am contemplating weather to cancel a Master 40t order for either the Master x or V13.... we are going far from the essence of a euc however Power sells big wheels are stable and as much fun as smaller wheels, i still ride an Rs19 ht which i use for jumping and tricks in general 35kg plus makes jumping more difficult.
Yeah this is like a big SUV or GT sedan, long range cruiser with a big gas tank. It's not going to be super agile or lightweight or compact, but it will go a lot farther and require less days of charging per week if you don't ride long distances daily
Interesting comments about rider vs wheel weight. I am like you, tall but thin, but even moreso (55 kg in armour) so the Master at 37 Kg puts it way over my weight class according to your rules ! And yes, I struggle sometimes, but on the whole, and with practice, it is manageable. It definitely wouldn't be on the Master Pro :)
I was seriously considering the Master Pro, but the suspension on the Sherman-S looks more refined and I don't think I'll need quite that much battery in the Master Pro. I think if I was doing a single ride for right now, my legs would start shaking before I used up the battery. Perhaps one day I will want even 5500Wh for ultimate MadMax riding, but for now, I'm good with 100v 3600Wh Sherman with suspension. Also there is that weight issue more than price to make me want the Sherman for a 65kg rider over the M Pro. BTW, great video. Loved the camera angles and cuts with you sitting with the wheel and just talking are some of my favorite parts of your films.
Oh thank you so much my friend for the comment and feedback… for a 65kg guy which big wheels have you tried? I can tell you … this wheel is definitely not for you I really need to address the weight video
How tall are you? I'm 5'7 I worry I may have and issue riding either one. I'm really wanting a faster, longer-range wheel with suspension by spring. I have the v12 currently. I like it a lot but I'm ready to upgrade.
Although Begode's quality is shit I am still going to buy a MasPro anyways. I am 71kg with gear and that is my only big concern. I will have to do a lot of modifications to make this wheel "usable"
@@MADpack Pretty much it is because I can fix the issues it has in a workshop but I dont recommend gotway wheels to anyone if they are not into DIY stuff
Please do not make videos about wheels you do not have in your possession. Anyone can read spec sheets. You didn’t showcase yourself riding the wheel, therefore Zero experience on the heaviest, tallest wheel ever, to make a substantial comparison. Thanks.
I get you but this videos are out after my audience asking for them never saw you in the comments so I believe you are not a regular one. For you there is no substantial content for others that they know that I review basically all eucs on the market but now the EUC market in the uk is dead so that’s why this format now. Hopefully you have plenty of other channels that can deliver to you what you ask… I have to play with that is possible to me With the massive problem that is happening now in the uk
Agreed. Don’t make videos like this on wheels you don’t ride. I am a viewer of this channel and I’m sure no one asked you to make this video WITHOUT riding it first.
@@MADpack So sorry to hear that, we, in the european countries are always lagging behind everyone else from our counterparts in US. Hope we get them sooner, rather than later. More power to you and your channel. Cheers!
@@MrSpeedyduck the first batch are just being finished and will be shipped very soon - the ones shown in the states are test wheels, and Leaperkim will take aboard as much feedback as they can from the various stateside reviewers, and then get production going. They will be available in the coming weeks and months, certainly in time for the spring in Europe. So far, the test wheels have been very enthusiastically received by the reviewers who have been given access to them, Adam reckons it is his favourite ride now, and Hsiang is equally enthusiastic. Given all the various disappointments with the 2022 wheels from Inmotion, KingSong and poor quality control by Begode letting down their otherwise attractive Master and T4, it will be easily the best new wheel coming along. Madpack hates the heavyweight wheels, so the InMotion V13 will be not very enthusiastically received either, despite showing good promise initially. 2023 will be a good year for the Sherman S, getting ready to preorder mine now!

The range is reduced when you jump on a bigger wheel bigger motors more voltage we are losing range at this moment

@@MADpack I suppose it depends on speed
Not really he goes not really faz and the range is same

You’d be better off getting the commander pro now. It’ll be cheaper plus it greatly out performs the Sherman S
Have you seen the break down on the commander pro? Wires everywhere. It has potential but the inside is trash 🗑️

4800wh not 4800w
What about the master pro v two
Unfortunately I’m not been able to review wheels in the uk because they are not coming
