Brendan, Thanks very much, I know Tony has bought the head and kit so we will see how he gets on. I need to talk with Joseph and see what he thinks. Cheers Dave
Hi Dave, Interesting. I had a 1984 BMW K100RS in the 1980s and my friend Walley who had the BMW dealership in Dorchester said to me one day. "Have a look at this engine David and i will show you why K engines are worth nothing second hand. He showed me the camshaft at 60K miles and it was absolutely like brand new. His point was you cannot wear them out. Regards, David.
plenty of people out there have the bmw bike head conversion, theres bound to be some vids out there i'd have thought on the builds. Any parts from specialist components cost though, although they are nice looking bits. It does mean you'll have to tackle fuel injection and engine mapping though! Theres 3 in our club, 2 turboed and mine thats n/a.
Hi Dave . I visited a local specialist a few months ago and he had a race mini with a BMW head . I understand this conversion is pretty well known . I left a second response on your previous video ......... cheers !
I'm soooo excited to see how Tony gets on
Alex, I‘m interested in what has to be done and the total cost and then see what the HP is in the end. Cheers Dave
Attention to detail, always your strongest point Dave. And yes worth considering a BMW but then you know I'm biased lol

David, Thanks for the info I have heard the same thing from some bikers who have had the the BMW bikes. It sounds like the way to go. Cheers Dave

Richard, I have watched a few videos about the set up but we need to look at total cost over the power and reliability gain. Cheers Dave
Thanks for the shout out Dave, see how we get on with the bmw conversion and looking forward to a new video 👍
Tony, I have watched a few videos now on this conversion which seem to go back a decade or more so it‘s proven engineering. Cheers Dave

John, It‘s been around for well over a decade from my understanding we just need to see if it would suit our set up. Cheers Dave
What about Mano from rusty love ,he has a carb business if I remember right
Peter, If it comes to selling some parts on I‘m sure we wouldn't have too much of a problem. It‘s total cost for power gained in the end. Cheers Dave
