Fixing my OTA TV Signal With The Channel Master CM-7779HD Preamp

I fixed my OTA TV signal loss in my 150 foot cable run by using the Channel master CM-7779HD preamp. This is a really well designed device with great build quality. It supports two gain settings (high/low), and has built in LTE and out of band filtering. It also has a passive bypass feature that continues to pass the RF signal even when the device is unpowered (like during power outages).

Just installed this device yesterday, pulled in 57 channels on low gain and 3 more on high. Using an antennas direct bi-directional 8 bay with a signal combiner, pramp 1.and a 50 ft rg6 cable run.
80% of my towers are 70+miles away and largely over water. If anything this thing has really strengthened and stabilized my channel list.

Thanks !! Just bought one.. im already in a great spot and get lots of channels but my towers are quit far and my cable run is about 40ft looking forward to installing it 🍻

Awesome! There may be cases where the high gain can be too much. Def worth experimenting with both low and high to see what works better. Thankfully the way you provide power to the preamp is super convenient to switch between the two. Good luck!
