I have to refute that claim and say Monk and Psych are the two best shows of all time!
I never got into Monk, like I did Psych, but it's a good show. Sometimes I wonder if we'll ever see another show like Psych again.
Same here, I binge watch both shows every summer, I wish monk would do a Christmas special every year too,
I worked with this man for 7 seasons of Psych, I have total respect and a fondness for him.

I am so glad to see not just how well he's doing physically but emotionally and mentally. I wonder if the Psych movies are just an excuse for all these actors to get back together and enjoy each other's company, and the fact that us psych-o's are ecstatic is just a bonus. We're glad Lassie will be back, but all that really matters is that Tim is back. I hope they make a hundred more psych movies.
I also heard another interview with him that they wrote in the scene in the first movie with FaceTime just so he'd get paid the same share as the rest of the cast; in other words, they all gave up some of their money for him. And that's also part of the reason why he's the main guy for this movie as well. I mean seriously this cast is so tight.
Considering how tight the cast is, I would say that is pretty much the reason they keep making the movies haha

Somehow I didn't really notice the first time i watched this, but he didn't move his left arm at all during the whole interview.
Well, I know that the entire cast just loves each other! James Roday was just gushing about Tim and it was so great to hear. I am a huge Psych fan and this just make my heart so full.
I had no idea they cut out a part of his skull. This whole thing sounds like a nightmare to go thru and so scary. Glad he has recovered so much
He’s such a good “grumpy” guy. Lassiter was a likable guy once you discovered his own story. I never met this man but I’d give him a hug if I could. Best wishes to him.
I have been wondering about his recovery. He looks and sounds great, and I hope he improves even more. Life and health are precious!

Hearing him laugh when he says "Lassie Come Home" at 11:24, you know he's going to be okay. He's such a strong person, and I hope he continues to get better and have a great life.

The first time I saw Timothy was in the Disney channel movie Luck of the Irish and I loved him in that and I loved him in Psych

I saw that movie but after psych so I only knew him as Lassie and it was strange either way still a great actor
Yeah same for me, Luck of the Irish was my first thing with Timothy in it, and I remember when I started watching Psych and saying to myself "hey, look, there's the evil leprechaun from Luck of the Irish!" I'm so glad he's alright, he's been one of my favourite actors ever since I was little.
"A pretty luck, tremendous life I've had". That right there is the power of perspective.
Psych is the ONLY TV show (or movie) I can watch over and over and over - no cast or story line will ever beat that and I am eternally GRATEFUL for all who made it happen! I will continue to watch ... Thank you Timothy Omundson - many blessings!

I love Timothy Omundson. He's marvelous as Carlton Lassiter. He was also fantastic as God Johnson in that episode of Lucifer. Plus so many other things. Heartbreaking to see him like this, but also inspiring. i know he'll get better and better. He's a fighter.

He was also in one episode of Criminal Minds he made a really good bad guy

its weird because it seems like my entire life he has looked like death but he' keeps on going somehow. And he's also only 86 but he looks like he's 110.

Timothy Omundson...wow. I am glad he survived not just physically but also mentally. Psych is still my favorite TV-show of all time and I loved him on Galavant. I pray he remains healthy and finds peace within himself daily.

I't been rewatching Psych recently, and Lassie is one of my favorite characters. I actually remember him in Luck of the Irish from Disney. He is an amazing and strong person. You are inspiring!!!

You've missed Galavant. You need to see Galavant episodes. He steals the show as the King. Go on, search TH-cam for Galavant. You won't get full episodes but the musical numbers are awesome.
I grew up watching psych and I loved that movie!! I remember watching that and that I got into psych and realized it was him lol.
He is such a good actor. Glad he survived. Scares me to hear this story.

Tim is amazing!! I literally cried when I saw him show up on This is Us. I'm so amazed he has had all this progress in 2 years and has been able to go back to acting, and not only that but is able to do these interviews! And he still has his great sense of humor. So much strength. I'm praying for him and his family to keep recovering
He was in a few episodes of America Housewife this season so far and he seemed normal and wouldnt of guessed he is struggling still

I had no idea. I am glad that he is recovering and I'm sorry he has to go through this. He is an amazing man and a wonderful actor. The first role I ever saw him in was Eli in Xena. Loved him as that character, as well as Lassiter in Psych, Cain in Supernatural, and King Richard in Galavant. Sending him lots of love.

Just happened to see an online ad about this interview. Our family absolutely loves Psych. We knew something happened to Timothy O but didn't know what until now. So glad his recovery is going well. His positive attitude is a true inspiration. All the best to Timothy O - AKA Lassie and his family!

He is a very real, honest person and every word meant something here. I know it's almost comical to say "that is rare" but every part of this interview was like a personal conversation.
My family will never stop watching Psych. We've seen every episode so many times, I'm 21 and I feel like I've been watching it my whole life because I kind of have! I swear a week doesn't go by without my mother making a Psych or Gilmore Girls reference. Which in itself is an entirely other reference, those shows were so brilliantly written.
Psych is one of my favorite shows and I love every actor on the show. Timothy we are hoping here for your total recovery and I am so happy to see that youre progressing in your recovery. Good luck. And thank you for all you do.
Oh my God! I had no idea that happened! I'm glad Lassie recovered. His eyes says it all. The amount of terror and pain he has been through.. Big Psych fan!
I’m so happy he survived and is still able to work and discuss his recovery. I’ve had my skull opened up before because of brain swelling and it’s really nothing short of terrifying. Lassie come home was hilarious by the way. Keep getting better Timothy.
I hope Timothy is fully recovered by now. He has such an amazing, tenacious spirit. He was great on Psych and he's awesome on This Is Us, though a much smaller role. He deserves any and all accolades.

I’ve told so many people to watch Psych and everyone of them ended up loving it. It’s honestly one of my favorite comedy shows and what makes it so great is the chemistry between everyone-like you know they’re all having fun on set and in real life. I’m very much looking forward to the movie as I missed Lassie a lot and I’m glad he’s doing much better.

Met this amazing man at Phoenix comicon in 2016 and he was so nice and accommodating for my best friend who was in a wheelchair even wishing her a happy birthday
You are an inspiration, Timothy Omundson. You could have called it quits and stayed home, and no one would have blamed you, but you came back to do what you love and to work with your friends again. Must have been such a hard two years. Please know that there are so many fans like me and my family that love your work and have so many good memories of watching you perform. Psych is at the top of my list of favorite shows of all time. Please continue your recovery and know that your audience anxiously awaits your next performance. I can't wait to see Lassie Come Home!
I loved, not only Psyche, but his character. He was a different type of detective in that show.

I had the chance to meet this amazing, incredibly inspirational man at a convention in Chicago. As a huge fan of Psych, I was disappointed when they wouldn't let me take a photo with him. So I waited and after he had finished his signing I ran after him and asked him for a photo. Without missing a beat and with a smile, he said "Of course!" and took a selfie with me. I have loved Omundson since the first episode of Psych. The show has brought so much joy in my life.

One of my very favorite actors I wondered why they didn't keep continuing the show and I can see why now. It wouldn't have been the same without him.

I remember meeting him randomly at a con 4 yrs ago and honestly he’s one of the absolute nicest, kindest celebs I’ve ever met irl. He was so caring and giving of his time. I loved him as a kid in luck of the Irish and then loved him even more in psych and galavant. I really do hope the best for him

I admire this man. Against all odds, and all problems, he still has a positive attitude and is thankful for what he has. He understands life. He is clearly loved by all those around him. Phenomenal actor and I was so sad to hear about this right before the new Psych movie came out. I really liked Tim in Psych but he was sensational in Galavant. My 21 year old son has both seasons on our DVR still and we can sit and watch Galavant over, and over again. Get better Tim.
