Psych Synopsis: "PSYCH" is a quick-witted dramedy about a young police consultant Shawn Spencer (James Roday, “The Dukes of Hazzard”) who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that he’s convinced Santa Barbara PD detectives into thinking he's psychic. Raised in Santa Barbara by a family of cops, Shawn possesses uncanny powers of observation honed by his police officer father, Henry, who drilled young Shawn to note even the smallest of details from his surroundings as a way of grooming him for his inevitable career in the family business. With the reluctant assistance of his best friend Gus, Shawn uses his skills of observation and charismatic personality to become the detective he was trained to be, opening his own PI agency - Psych - and solving cases for an ever-suspicious, but grudgingly impressed, police force.

Dule Hill’s facial movements are the best thing about this show
I love the little nods to Lassiter in the first movie because Timothy Osmundson had his stroke and couldn’t be in it more.❤️
I also love that they still have the Driver’s Ed. car they stole 3 years prior.🤣💖
Props to the screenwriters for only putting one brief shules kiss in the movie, it mustve already been pretty awkward for james roday and maggie lawson since they had broken up before the movie was filmed. If they had added in too many intimate scenes it mightve been more overt thst the on screen chemistry had changed between them
@Zebecx It was probably in their contracts, they don't kiss in the later movies
They only kiss when they absolutely have to, looks like they're clearly not comfortable with it

Yeah, the drivers Ed car. Brilliant writing! “We’ll be more efficient because we have 2 steering wheels” lol, love the continuity from the last episode. Few movies live up to the series, but this one did. Someone cares! Respecting ur fans. Thanks!
4:52 is literally my favorite part of the whole movie!! Just literally seeing Shawn download all this info and just seeing what he sees… seems magical!!

Maggie and Mena really put on a show. Better than a lot of fights you see in blockbuster films actually.
BTW the ninja goon identified as the "Black Gentleman Ninja" was played by the same guy who plays Black Noir and Black Noir II in The Boys

5:54 I kind of liked this part and wished they did of this forced perspective stuff in the show to show how Shawn’s mind works. Some people can imagine a scenario like this and just flip the other persons perspective to come to the conclusion that the picture was taken across the street. I was using the yellow lines on the street to determine which direction they’d be looking at

It’s weird to think that James is in that serious role in current series. Miss his comedic genius. I get he’s an artist and all.
And yet, he's still pretty funny, in a quiet, sometimes angry way.
