- Psych was unfortunately buried around so many procedural shows that nobody ever gave it a chance. Those who did, stand faithfully behind the show as Psycho's. Today's lost and found episode is bringing Psych back into the light as one of the best procedural tv shows.

Thank you so much for doing Psych. Everything you said about the show is true. When I'm feeling depressed I start watching Psych and it lightens me up and just puts me in a better mood.
I'm right there with you. It's a comfort show. It's like sitting around with your friends/family and enjoying an easy day. Psych wasn't anything overly serious and you always knew what to expect. It was just about taking a journey with friends, goofy friends you could relate to. At least that's how I took it.

I started watching psych in middle school because the girl I had a crush on REALLY liked it. I ended up losing interest in her but I never lost interest in psych. Still by far my favourite comedic show to sit down and watch.
Psych is a forever thing. Unless the show creators go on and commit mass genocide, I will always support this show!

Shawn is exactly my age (in the show). All the references are nostalgic for me. I'm surprised teens could like it so much!
Psych kinda reminds me of Chuck, with it's goofyness, the two main characters and the love interest.
The intersect kind of reminds me of Shawn's " psychic powers" lol I never realized this 😂

It's a testament to the strength of that show, that while I was taking my kids trick or treating, one of the houses had a psych pineapple carved pumpkin. Kinda sad that I recognized it, but people *still* love the show, even after it's been off the air for so long.

Nater Tot yes! Especially the finale episode of season two with the mummy. Tuesday the 17th is by far my favorite horror themed episode though. Its got depth as a character episode for lassie, it’s scary for psych, plus it’s funny as usual.

My parents raised me well. I’ve grown up watching psych, monk, and burn notice. References from all three always make it into daily conversations in my household. These shows hold a special place in my heart and I still love watching them to this day.
I became hooked on this show in mid June. I have sadly come to the end of the tale. I look forward to some subtle antics from James Roday Rodriguez this fall as Gary Mendez in "AMLT". ♥️ After watching this I look forward to also watching Dulé Hill in "Suits".

2020 im currently watching psych on Amazon prime. I remember watching previews before the show actually started n knew I'd like it. It is one of my fav series ever!

Lassie Jerky, or one hundred clues, are duel spires and I’m so stoked to hear that they have the movies still pumping out cant wait...i think its one of the most under rated show along with the underrated actors but with a million little things that acting thing were seeing a side of the cast that the we have seen all along. But now the rest of the world is starting so see it....
If you have never seen psych its on hallmark all the time see what its all about ,,its cheesy funny bromance like no other it’ll make you seem that happy thing..

So glad I stumbled onto this video, Psych is hands-down my favorite show. Can’t wait for the second movie later this year- I recently heard they’re not releasing it on regular TV, it’s going to be on NBC’s new streaming app they’re launching soon, that sucks!

I guess this showed up in my feed because I've been watching Psych on Amazon. Love this show. But a bit creeped out that what I do online, or speak about in my home, always seems to end up in a feed on one of my social media sites. Or in my advertising.
That has to do with the algorithm that TH-cam uses. Some 60 million calculations make that up. I'm sure it has something do with cookies that your computer takes while you're logged into various things. It's certainly nothing I do.
@@NaterTot Yeah. I didn't figure it was anything you did. Cookies, huh? I haven't used an actual computer in so long that I pretty much forgot about cookies. Though I'm pretty sure I have seen websites that warn me they use cookies, but I kind of just ignore them and don'tpay much attention. I wonder if you still have to go in and clear out the cookies on computers these days. Anyway, I'm always thinking they are listening in and they hear me talk about things and then run ads for what I talked about. But cookies would certainly explain it if I searched for something. Of course, I can't explain it when I haven't searched. Just chalk it up to another thing I don't know about the technology age.
During one summer when I was 7 my mom and sister and I watched Psych and we loved it. We come together every other week just to watch Psych together 😊
Psych is my favorite tv show of all time. The theme song sets the mood and the relationship between Shaun and Gus reminds me of my childhood. Not the antics but the friendship.
Psych was my moms favorite tv show when I was growing up. It’s one of my favorite shows and I just love it so freaking much!!

Love Psych! I just got done rewatching it.
Dude psych is my life. It all started years ago, when I first started watching it, and I was hooked after the first episode. I was devastated when the show ended. Skip forward a couple years, I rewatched the show once, then it was taken off Netflix 😭 Skip forward a couple years and the movie comes out, and I am overjoyed!!! Skip forward some time, and I discovered it was on Amazon prime for free!! I now have rewatched the show 3-4 times, and still continue to watch it. I started psych meme page, got a t shirt, and I can not wait for the second movie!
Edit: When it says couple years I was just estimating by what it felt like, could be wrong

One of my favorite things to do on cold fall days is to have chicken noodle soup, a grilled cheese sandwich, and rewatch most of season 4 or 5. Suffice to say you’re totally right on the food part.

Psych was one of my younger son’s favorite shows. It became one of mine. He watched the whole show on Netflix. I noticed it on Amazon Prime and started from the beginning. Yes, I’ve seen some episodes before, but those are still fun. The episodes that are concentrated homages to other works are especially fun. I saw several of those with my son, such as the Hitchcock episode and Dual Spires. I found that especially fun a Twin Peaks fan. I was amused and a little disappointed to learn why they didn’t ask David Lynch to participate: They were afraid he’d say no. It still turned out great. And we didn’t have to wait 25 years for the next episode. Kudos to Steve Franks et alia.
Psych was always on during the first 4 hours of my nightshift. I've probably seen every episode at least twice. My favorite thing is when Gus gets scared, but every aspect is amazing.
I'm only 13 but my grandma introduced to this show and I loved and binged the entire series. I so glad people are talking about it

one thing i love about psych, it's so damn rewatchable. it's easy to just go put on any psych episode (except maybe the musical) and just enjoy it, even if you know the conclusion, even if you've watched it many times before there's just something there that makes it stay fresh and good no matter what.

A friend of mine introduced me to Psych a couple months ago and I can’t believe how I’d never heard of it before, it’s so incredibly underrated

Watched it from the first episode in 2006 and still rewatch all episodes to this day not another show will ever take its place EVER
Love this show. I think I’m due for a rewatch.
I particularly always loved how from season 3 on they kept using The Mentalist to describe themselves. I can think of no better way to subtly call out such a blatant homage.
It was genius. They do use it a few times too many but they were definitely in their right to !
Pysch is one of those shows where, if you haven't seen it, it's weird, but once you've seen it, your in. I've never met anyone who dislikes it
I absolutely agree. I do understand people saying it's formulaic or even gimmicky, but I think they manage to work it well. It's always entertaining, even after numerous rewatches.
The "Dual Spires" homage to Twin Peaks and "Shawn Takes A Shot In The Dark" are two absolutely perfect episodes.

Love this show! My fave ever. Seen every episode many times and even watched the ones with commentaries multiple times. My hubby and I even will say “I found the pineapple” when we are out somewhere and see one 😂
I listened to majority of the commentaries too! It definitely provided an extra insight and I just love how great everyone is together.

i’ve been a hardcore psych fan for YEARS. and i always try to think who my fav character is but i truly can’t pick. i love shawn because, i mean he’s shawn like what else lol, gus is just so funny and lovable and close to my heart in a lot of ways, juliet is the strong independent woman whose also funny and witty, and ofc lassie, whose development throughout the show is just so good and especially his friendship with jules and even shawn in the end. the show is truly perfect and i hope the keep making movies

i watched the show for the first time this month and i have to say its definitely one of my all time faves. It's seriously such a comforting show and not a single episode fails to make me smile. It's one of the only shows that I enjoyed throughout the entire run. There wasnt a single "meh" episode or season for me. Definitely gonna be recommending it

I really enjoyed Psych also. One observation I made of Shawn: he's smart, great at observation, but bored with the idea of a regular job. So his detective agency allows him to put on different hats from time to time. A male model, firefighter, and bounty hunter to name a few. He goes all in, then gets to move on to the next thing.

ive been watching psych since i was 7, me & my mom still regularly rebinge it. ive got most of the episodes memorized at this point lmao, excellent stuff. i doubt ill like a show more than psych
I love psych and will always rewatch. Although watching it start to finish makes me notice some things, notably in the pilot Shawn shows he actually has some ability to fight and is a dead-shot with a pistol. Later on they kind of make him scared (rather then unwilling) to use a gun and take his skills away. Now I never wanted Shawn to start going guns ablaze, but in some episodes (like when Jules is taken hostage) it would have been cool for him to battle with his unwillingness to use a gun even if he is completely capable.
This duo is tied as number 1 for me. Chocolate bear and JD from psych I think also capture the best of each other.

Psych is my absolute favorite tv show of all time. I'm not a fan of police procedural shows unless they're also comedies, and psych has always been the perfect mix of dramatic and hilarious!

Absolutely love psych. Only critique is that it wasn’t necessarily murders Shawn was solving before he was a suspect and had to come up with his psychic persona. In fact, the crime he was accused of helping out with was theft at a radio shack. Other than that this is a super good synopsis of the show!
"Dual Spires" is still one of my all-time favorite episodes.
