This was very helpful, very well-explained. The biggest issue I've had with choosing a large capacity power bank is how long it takes to re-charge them. I've searched for months for explanation of how to overcome that big drawback. This video made it quite clear that it is the power bank's USB input that makes the difference. Clearly, that's the spec to look for (along with the watts). I now feel I have the information I need to make the best buy for my needs. Thank you!!
@@xan9888 Hi Trey, I did not buy any of these. but only because I wanted the convenience of easy return if there was an issue. I bought a myCharge - Razor Xtreme at BestBuy; but have never used it--until now. In order to give some feedback, I decided to give the myCharge a try on my HP X360 Chromebook. The myCharge indicated 75 percent of capacity available. I have recently settled on the Anker PowerCore III; it recharges from 0 to full in 2.5 hours -- the time it takes to have a coffee at a coffee shop. Weight doesn't matter much for a power bank in terms of capacity, yes weight matters when carrying it around but chinese manufacturers have been caught in the past putting weights inside the charger to make it feel heavier for the difference in missing capacity. If one is rated at like 20,000mah but feels super light that can be a dead giveaway but folks like to take these apart and weights are commonly used in generic power banks to hide any missing weight from the lower than advertised capacity. Good video btw, and thank you.

PB Still charging and charging and so is my phone! I then tried charging the PB from MicroUSB and plugging my iPhone into it via the USB-C port - as soon as I plugged in the USB C cable the PB STOPPED charging (the iPhone continues to charge). So if you want pass-through charging you’ll have to charge the PB with the USB-C port, but then you should be doing that anyway. I also tried it pass-through charging my iPad pro with a USB-A to USB-C cable and that worked too. It will even pass-through charge the iPad pro AND my iPhone (XS) at the same time. I can’t speak for the other PBs but I know my older anker one wouldn’t pass-through charge, but that was a microUSB charge so not the same.

For the Anker battery if you double click on the battery button you get a green light to show, and when you double click again it goes away. Anyone know what that means?
Excellent detailed information, I have just ordered the Poweradd 30w USB PD charger before watching this video in the UK for £36.00 which in my opinion is excellent value, it is to charge my drone batteries with the charging hub that uses USB C PD of 29w input.
i noticed you didnt give any details about how the powerbanks have one usb-A port (marked with the color blue) that does QuickCharge (2.0 or 3.0... from Qualcomm). That info is very relevant to alot of ppl since many Samsung phones uses that standard... and also something to note is: Anker and RavPower had models that were certified/licensed for QC... and then they both decided to save money and do a work around that activated QC but wasnt official. Also, while i was typing all this, i was listening & watchibg your vid. When you go back and forth pointing "this one does this but this one does this".... it would definitely help the viewers if you can mention which brand you're currently talking about... because they are all colored black...and after a few back and forth of you comparing all of them...its hard to figure out which one are you talking about. Maybe overlay the brand names underneath them? Overall... pretty informative but having the information visually shown, especially when youre talking about the specs would be great in the future! Thannks and keep up the good work!
I just bought the Poweradd based on your review. I got it today and it doesn't charge. It says on the Amazon Web site that you can charge it faster using the micro USB port and the USB C port at the same time. I have the charger from my old Samsung S5 phone connected to the micro USB port, and the PD charger from my Samsung A71 connected to the USB C port, but the unit continues to just blink one dot. Sorry I bought it. Should have spent more money and got the Anker unit.

Where is Romoss? Well, let me try these RAV out next!
hello, would you like to test our powerbank
Contact the content creator of this channel. They will do justice to that! Thank you.
Wonderful review
Good review😤
Great video, thanks so much!!!
Nice review. Have you reviewed the INUI 20000mAh? Thoughts? Seems major bang for buck.
Should have torn open the non USB C pack. Even if they are lipo pouch cells they'll have some kind of numbers on there to indicate physical size or mah. If it only has physical size dimensions you can google them to get a rough idea of what mah is typically in that size cell.
Orderd a lux based on this review.
This list needs to be updated now
Is Aukey a good brand?
Yes
Fantastic video, Thank you.
Would any of these work for my Samsung Tab S7 plus if its PD compatible and if its 10,090mah capacity?
I have Baseus 30000mah 65w PD powerbank🤩
I guess you don't travel
How does this keep up .. is it any good and can you travel with it ?
@@KekeliAwudey

What capacity have those New PD banks in real? Can a 10.000 mAh Bank Charge only maximum 6.000 mAh Phone because of effektivity of 0,6% like old banks? Or more?

RAVPower is Excellent with Path Through. I am using it with Vantrue T3 dash cam with wave sensor parking mode. It will never runs out keep power on with keep charging from USB (or just connecting with USB because this cam uses very small power with Parking mode. It must be connected with USB to run Dash Cam to keep dash cam to run non-stop, It has to be path through.
Thank you for the review. Can you also review RavPower 15000mah 18w (with LED display)? It seems to be one of the nicest 15000mah PD power banks.
Can you run a raspberry pi from these powerbanks? Thanks 🙏
With bankers usb c pdf can I still use the type C to charge a typical led light that takes 1amp micro usb if I use a type c to micro usb? I know it will not quick charge but will it damage the led light or just charge it at its allowed 1amp charging? THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE
My brother has the ravpower battery pack and it has lasted him for over 3 years. The plastic does feel rugged and battery stills hold a charge, it charges at 30watts not many banks do that
For the Anker battery if you double click on the battery button you get a green light to show, and when you double click again it goes away. Anyone know what that means?
Per Anker website that is trickle charge mode
@@BRRRETO do you know what that means in regards to the charger?
Great review!!!!!
Good test review ,but 26800mAh=26.8Ah,hope its a misprint from Amazon !
Can anyone suggest me a safe & long-lasting 20000 mah powerbank (25-30 watt charging speed) which has got the maximum rated capacity?
Excellent detailed information, I have just ordered the Poweradd 30w USB PD charger before watching this video in the UK for £36.00 which in my opinion is excellent value, it is to charge my drone batteries with the charging hub that uses USB C PD of 29w input.
just to let you know some of the links dont work
How does the metro series stack up to this anger??
Thanks for the help
Please review power bank from aukey, tronsmart and zendure
Can you charge them with USB-C AND micro USB?

Very interesting subject. May I ask what would the best power bank be for charging one of these from a 12 volt motorcycle battery. Stay safe
no
the ravpower def melted my Bluetooth speaker / karaoke machine. trying to figure out what went wrong 😂
Please do a review on Air Connect I Mate 20000 MAH power bank. It is a wireless enabled power bank.
Is it true power bank damage phone batt?
No

@@ChingSungDennisKong hello, would you like to test our powerbank
Just got the Luxtude for $40.99 on Amazon.
i noticed you didnt give any details about how the powerbanks have one usb-A port (marked with the color blue) that does QuickCharge (2.0 or 3.0... from Qualcomm).
I purchased a Romoss 57000 mah. It can charge a phone upto 11+ times, but is heavy weighing at 1.5kg
Good video.
I personally haven't had good luck with Anker. I currently own an Aukey, RAVPower and Samsung and they all work well.
maybe its better to use Watt-hour next time as a unit of energy/capacity than just a percentage and mAh..
Such a good video
This is the kid that did his home work in school 😅😅
Lmfao so true!!
it would be fantastic if Anker sold the Powercore bundle separately. They don't have a solo power bank that has power delivery.
Check out the Aukey power banks. I have one and it is fantastic.
I want to see what cells are inside, give us a teardown video!
hello, would you like to test our powerbank

I just bought the Poweradd based on your review. I got it today and it doesn't charge. It says on the Amazon Web site that you can charge it faster using the micro USB port and the USB C port at the same time. I have the charger from my old Samsung S5 phone connected to the micro USB port, and the PD charger from my Samsung A71 connected to the USB C port, but the unit continues to just blink one dot. Sorry I bought it. Should have spent more money and got the Anker unit.
If you bought it on Amazon they will replace it for you
@@Zilla.222 Yes, they did replace it.
@@teddul I have a Samsung A71 phone and it doesn't have wireless charging. The Poweradd is OK after they sent me one that works.
Zendure?
Bro can you test 20000 mah ones to tnx
Hi, Thanks for the video - what can one use to power an Intel NUC 8i7beh when the power is down that could last around 4 - 5 hours please ?
It uses 50w under load currently.
Is there a Powerbank or UPS that could do this job ?
