There have been guys scoring own goals with stunning headers from +20 meters, bicycle kicks from same distance, pathetic touches while trying to be fancy... This girl’s og is definitely a normal one. Shit happens. I hope she got over it quickly, as it’s part of the game.
There couldnt be a worse own goal because there could be no ball that's easier to keep out of the net than this one, unless it was actually stationary or moving in the opposite direction.
@@elpeluca7780 It's not about the passer missing that pass, but the GK missing that pass. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it's a stupid goal that's hard to regain. Hence why you never pass towards the goal, but only towards the line.
This is LITERALLY one of the first things the coach(es) teach you in the football academy not to ever try to stop the ball like that if it's coming towards you like that.

You never pass the ball to the goal keeper, sending the ball in the direction of the goal. The ball is always sent in the direction of the end line, precisely to avoid these type of home goals.
ummm no passing back to the keeper can be useful in helping build up an attack u just have to be confident in ur keeper. Obviously its important to not put too much power on it tho
