G'day guys, I've gotten some messages on Nexus Mods, and I just wanted to be clear that the Textures mod I'm referring to is called the "Manually Optimized Textures (AP Neural Enchanced Textures)" and not the Original "AP Neural Enhanced Textures v4" as the original one can make your game unstable and the Manually optimized textures is the mod that I have linked in the description and the mod that I'm showcasing in the video. Just like in the description, the mod I'm referring can be found from this link: www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/6155 Cheers!
Cool mods that make the game look prettier, but i was hoping to find information on combat specific mods. Currently i have Dain's Fixes, Flash's creature rescale, DA2 Style 2-Hand, No Decaying Corpses, Advanced Tactics and managed to edit some files from different shapeshift mods to make them compatible for the purpose of making the shapeshifter not totally worthless. But i'm not a modder and this took me a while. I wish there were some mods for DAO out there that would simply improve the combat experience, similar to the Baldur's Gate 1&2 SCS mod.
Thanks for watching bro and I appreciate your comment! I'm glad that you brought this up as DAO generally has the most polarizing combat style in the series with DA2 being the happy middle ground (in my opinion) Dain's Fixes, Flash's creature rescale and advanced tactics I'm currently using on my 3rd playthrough and there bloody awesome, I would also recommend using the faster animations mod for great sword builds as it made my Daemon Cousland character really fun to mess around with and makes it feel more like DA2! I am currently working on doing a top 30 mods video for several more games like DA2, but I'd be happy to revisit DAO again for some more essential combat orientated mods, I wanted to keep this video as user friendly as I could which is why I'm not discussing every mod that I used for the walkthrough I did for this showcase which equates to well over 100 configurations! Yep, modding DAO can be a bit confusing compared to modding other games, like for this video I was using BOTH the DAO mod manager and a few manual installs and file tweaking to get everything working correctly as a fair amount of the mods available for DAO are over 10 years old at this point!
