Every time I see the Theron romance scenes, I can't help but think of the glitch that caused him to come back to life so he could break up with me for romancing LS Jaesa...only to return to the grave immediately after. :)
I'm happy to answer! Got a little carried away and wrote my character's whole story. Sorry! Obviously, I made republic-friendly choices throughout the main story, becoming a double-agent for Ardun Kothe at the end. I don't think any of the choices made during Makeb or Revan matter, but I did help the former Minister of Intelligence save Shara and try to have her loyalty programming removed (this fails, as is made apparent my her actions later). I received a holocall from Ardun at the end of that x-pack. It is this point that I head-cannon my agent's revealing his choices to the rest of the squad, as they are more loyal to the Agent than any faction at this point. The Republic and Empire have a tentative truce, which was the goal of going undercover in the first place. He also tells his squad the truth, and commits his romance to Raina Temple, with Shara (his true love) clearly no longer being a viable option. (I also head-cannon that Raina didn't actually kill her dad, she was just afraid to tell the agent the truth, and uses Imperial loyalty as a facade and defense mechanism). During KOTFE/KOTET, my Republic allegiance was never mentioned. For RP purposes though, I saved the Republic Senator and Zakuulan idol, letting Admiral Ranken die, saying "we need to win the trust of our enemies, as the Imperials already trust us." This has no bearing on the story, but I thought it was a smart play worth mentioning. I did side with the Republic on Iokath, which was honestly a tough choice, choosing between the Republic's control of a super-weapon and maintaining my cover. But my (meta) conclusion was that Bioware intended the choice to be a more basic "who will you support going forward," not really considering deep-cover allegiances. It looks like I was correct in that assessment, as it seems only Republic Agents who helped the Republic on Iokath get to face Shara on Nathema. This seen was heartbreaking as it is pretty clear any attempt made by the Minister and myself to free her has utterly failed. I was sad there was no way to save her, but I understand they had to write her out of the story somehow. A tender goodbye/death scene would have been nice, though. When asked to finally commit again to a faction again before Ossus, I was surprised I would be going back undercover to support the Republic, as I assumed my actions on Iokath blew that cover wide open. But then I realized that outside of the Alliance itself, Jace Malcom, and the (now dead) Order of Zildrog, not many people really know for sure what happened. A cover story could easily be developed about Iokath by stretching the truth, such as: "Iokath radiation lead to complete loss of communication and friendly fire between the Alliance and the Empire. Empress Acina attempted to use a super-weapon to defeat Republic forces, not knowing it would kill everyone on the planet. Alliance forced had no choice but to work with the Republic to shut down the weapon, but were unable to stop her from activation, which lead to her death at the hands of the Machine Gods. We regret the loss of imperial life, but the Machine GOD threat has been eliminated." I thought the scene on Nathema would be the end of the line for the Agent's vanilla story references, so Theron mentioning my being a double-agent the whole time really surprised me. I guess this means I can still hold on to hope that Ardun Kothe may be brought up at some point. He really should have taken the place of Jonas Balkar for Republic agents, but oh well. I hope you enjoyed the read!
@@KoPT01 I did but I still don't know what kriffed up my double agent identity. The immediate offender is me choosing the empire on Iokath but I wonder whether I would be a double agent if I skipped SoR again :/
I honestly have no idea. There are no choices in SoR that would impact an Agent's status, but I guess it's possible there are flags programmed in that break something if skipped.
Good to see you post again, I love these videos :) thought there had to be some Koth romance content with this update but I couldn’t find any videos of it anywhere.
Trying to! ^__^ I'm taking steps towards learning to datamine subtitles (helpful for conteztualizing cut content), and maybe I'll get a stationary PC, cause the fps is killing me :(
I'm excited for 6.0, but also for if you get the time to go back and cover the shadows of revan ones too. (I especially like the agent options when lana gets promoted to sith intelligence)
I am one! Ran into a bunch of SWTOR cosplayers during a con, we decided to have a photoshoot some time later (I had a custome Zakuulan-inspired costume at the time). So I looked around, saw that every other relevant female character was already taken and decided, hell, why not Acina then? A lot of care went into her costume's design, and she is rather interesting and important for the story.
@@dar-nakkallig she's not someone would love to be though ^__^"" And her outfit isn't all that interesting or pretty. And the makeup!! That's why i would never want to cosplay, say, Malora.
That cut line about GEMINI Prime. Do you think they were originally planning on having her replace SCORPIO in the companion pool, similar to how Ak’Ghal could replace Khem for SIs who sided with Zash?
I think it depends. If the commander and him have the same values and not many friction points, I think he has the potentiel to become a fiercly loyal ally. It's not like the allies that are loyal by default are always happy either... I mean, look how Theron reacts if you let the Imps bombard Corellia in Onslaught...
there is one thing I found unusual, the traitor in the republic you chose was a strange choice. both a career criminal and an alien not strong in the force...they wouldn't be nice to her
Maybe, but the imps do work with such people if they stand to gain something from it, aka the mandalorians, the chiss, even BH. Besides, the Republic is never nice to smugglers anyway; betraying it on other classes makes even less sense: the Jedi would know that the sith are full if shit, and troopers have Elara to show them that the empire's military isn't any more efficient than the Republic's.

@@aaron75fy I still don't think that the Jedi and the trooper are more likely to switch sides.
