People don't realize how difficult it is getting used an 8 String. I have played a 7 String and it took time to get used to just an extra string. Can't imagine getting used to an extra more.

The 8string guitar is difficult, but I like it because it allows me to try different playing styles💪🏻
From 6 to 7 took me a couple of months to get fully comfortable. 7 to 8 was around a week. Might be because you've once before learned an extra string, so doing it again is a bit easier? Idk lol.
(I really can't play sixes anymore at all though lmao)
@@Nibblerr i went from a 6 to an 8 like right off the jump. very bad idea. but i shift between them pretty regularly & it’s honestly pretty easy to play both after a while
