Honestly it was the advice I needed too. I also primarily use the Greatsword and don’t like shields, so I don’t usually block in Elden Ring. But Greatsword has decent guard boost and damage negation so I did it for the fight and beat him within a few tries. Gonna start using guard more now 😂
Bijou needs to change her moonveil ktaana to moonlight greatsword for being able to defend against some attacks in second phase.

Having Deflecting Hard Tear for physick really helps, and makes bosses like these more fun in my opinion.

The fact that Pekora picked up that Radahn is using Bloodflame magic because he's in Mohg's body is impressive.

Is it? First thing she says in the video is that Miquella put Radahn soul in Mohgs body, it seems like a pretty straight line from there to make the connection that that's why Radahn can use bloodflame magic.

can't believe she beat this game without mimic ,no summoner and no multiplayers . As i've seen many players were pushed to their limits and were crying so much , Pekora inspired to become good , learn patterns etc ...
NG Consort Radahn is easy. NG+ Radahn, is a whole different beast.

Pekora knowing the final boss would be Radahn, and picking up that he's using Bloodflame because he's revived in Mohg's body is blatantly impressive.
I saw she used her greatsword to block. It's not 100% physical block like a greatshield, but blocking helps alot on this boss.
Radahn's second phase is mostly endurance combos, so she did absolutely great job by doing that without sacrificing good dps as welll
Weapons in Elden Ring have a little higher guard boost compared to their Dark Souls or Ds3 counterparts because of the addition of guard counter. So blocking with your twohanded weapon should've been utilised more even in the base game imo
@@MaidenlessScrubI think the game would've benefited from having a Sekiro parry mechanic (by default, not bound to a tear).
@@user-zb1bh9ss2f uh, some builds can’t block at all and deflecting can trivialise a lot of bosses, so no, at least not for Elden Ring because the entire game wasn’t designed with that mechanic in mind.

Its because in japanese the lore is way more straight forward and easier to understand than in the english localization where they use cryptic old english with squiggly sentence structures. there are also alot of mistranslations.
@@MikedieONE The Japanese version is also written in old Japanese. Maybe it's easier for them to understand because old Japanese literature is a mandatory subject at school.
@@MikedieONE woah a thing, thing japan moment in the wild. ansbach literally says verbatem in the English dub that miquella is using lord mohgs body as the vessel for his king consort, discarding his soul and using only his empty shell. not only that but ansbach gives you a letter to give to freyja where she says that miquella seeks to revive radahn right after. it can't be more straight forward than that imo

I had to use the mimic tear for this fight I was getting so shit on. Shot out to Pekora she’s a real one for going in here with the guts sword and no summons like a chad. My second play through of the DLC I’ll fight him no summons he can’t be harder than Malenia with no summons…right 😅I was able to do that but maaaaan idk this just looks insane.
As a maidenless, this boss offends me.
Why? Poor Radahn got recerected from the dead and put into his half brother body while being forced to marry his other psycho half brother just because of some weird power fantasy of Miquela.

she is using a cheese/over power build, she also tried to deviate from that but can't and come back. And that is ok. Play how you enjoy playing.

lmao no way you call a normal greatsword build cheese, especially considering dlc power level. Power stancing greatsword jump attacks can be cheese but she dealt normal damage.@@thaoremchan9234

It is amusing seeing her talk about how the first phase is easy to read and gives you lots of time to fight back. Then the second phase comes along and changes all of that.

Pekora is actually better than most of us with souls games, I died over 300 times and need 3 days to win this fight. Alot of hardcore streamer die alot and need 5-7 hours to win.
She did take over five hours, that said she did beat him with the "guts sword", i had to cheese this fucker with the fingerprint shield, i actually learned quite a few things watching her beat this boss, for example i never thought of trying to go for a stagger when radhan charges the big AoE or how effective the blocking is with the "guts sword" can be, our rabbit is a hell of gamer.
So many people piling on for a faulty thumbnail/title, but very little thanks for actually changing it as quickly as you did - so thanks, and here, have a cookie 🍪

@@NinzaQZ I was getting turned to paste at 15, even with dragoncrest greatshield, opal tear, and good armour. Went all the way to 20 to get into normal boss damage range.
@@imaencuru maybe stat difference she is str build with a lot of vigor.. levelling up str will reward you some dmg negation.. + she is using golden vow incantation it gives you defense as well

It's not a full spoiler, there is more to it than just Radahn. I think you will still be pleasently surprised.
I raced through the DLC as fast as possible, doing almost nothing else on the launch weekend, because I knew this would happen otherwise. Not something everyone can do, though.

Pekora is legit a god at elden ring. Bosses that take other people DAYS to beat barely take her a dozen tries. And she barely even gets tense or angry. Somehow Gacha games give her the patience of a toddler, and Souls games give her the patience of a saint.

Using a colossal sword and no summon without some brokenly overpowered build that's super impressive. I only did it extremely buffed once with Marais executioner and once lightning flask, both of which one shot stuff outside the DLC and only take a handful of hits to take him out, and I used a mimic on top of that lol.
