Hardly used my main oven since I got my Cosori last December. But I do use it to heat up our plates: I love a really hot meal on a hot plate.
When I think about it, most of the advice/examples of 'good practice' I learnt from my Dad. He loved a hot plate....and encouraged us kids to have really hot, sudsy water for the washing up we had to do on a Sunday. I can hear him now "Do your glasses first, then your plates...pots & pans last".
Made me laugh when Martin said something about the veg water being full of good stuff: our Dad used to encourage us 4 sisters to drink the Greens water for the same reason, because it'd be good for our faces. None of us suffered from spots so maybe he was right?!!
Oh, and we love a bit of mint sauce in our gravy too! 😋

A friend of mine does all her meats in the slow cooker (beef, chicken, pork, ham) & she says they all come out moist & even the chicken & turkey crowns never come out dry! I always forget to do it that way although I have cooked many beef joints in the slow cooker. My actual oven broke & I've not replaced it as I want a new kitchen so I've cooked lamb, pork & chicken in my microwave. It's an old one & bigger than you can get nowadays & I have a dish that my mum used to use. It cooks the meat perfectly everytime & I can do a large chicken in 40 minutes & it's lovely. When I get my kitchen refitted that microwave is staying! I'm also going to get the cosori air fryer oven & the new one you reviewed. I've already got the slow cooker & the old style pressure cooker (I just use that as a large pan for soups & stews etc as I'm too scared in case it explodes as you've said many times about others being wary) & I have a digital pressure cooker that sautés, cooks rice etc but it's not a cosori. Just debating whether I actually need a new oven when I refit the kitchen🤔 Just seems odd not to have one but as you say why would you need one 🤔 I could get a warming drawer to warm the plates up, but I put them in the bowl in the sink & pour boiling water over them & then just dry them with a towel as I'm ready to serve. Not that I do all of this often as there's only me🤣🤣 I do like having friends & my niece & her family round though. Thanks again folks for all that you do & showing amazing food & your beautiful family🥰
Couldn't remember the name of the new one you reviewed but just looked back & it's the Cosori turbo blaze.....I think😁 I might order them tomorrow (Fri) & see if they are cheaper with a Black Friday deal 👍 Love a bargain 😁 If you've got time to reply, is the door on the air fryer oven easy to keep clean? I've read reviews on other oven types saying the glass doors are a pain to keep clean with them getting splashed & meat fat/juices on them. No worries if you don't reply, I know you're busy people & can't answer everyone.......guess I'll find out when I buy one🤣🤣
