If dealers are asking sky high premium prices for used Tacomas then they should be immaculate and with good quality name brand tires not those cheapo ones!!
the arrogance of any Toyota dealer putting that red Tacoma on the lot in that condition for that inflated price. It's a Toyota dealer...get the body shop to fix the dent and clean up the bed/switch out the bed bolts. And remove that hideous Amazon "bull bar" and chuck that thing in the dumpster.
Transport Damage happening to vehicles before they get to the dealership to sell it are far more common than any of us want to know. You'd better believe, EVERY DEALERSHIP sells the new vehicle with newly repaired/ replaced body panels etc are sold as new never telling the consumer it's been wrecked.
What's Up With All These Roof Dents. I Saw The Same Thing At My Local Toyota Dealership On 3 Tacoma's I Was Thinking of Buying. I've Been A Mechanic Since 1973 And Worked For Dealerships For 33 Years So I Check Everything And I Go To Look At Them On Sunday When Closed So Nobody Is Bothering Me. I Take My Time And Check Even Under The Truck. I Go In The Daylight And Stay Till It's Starting To Get Dark. The Parking Lot Lights Show The Roof Damages Better And Bring A Good Flashlight For The Sides. I Use To See Damage Happening When They Take The New Vehicle Off The Car Carrier Truck A Lot Since I Worked In The First Bay Near The Over Head Door. I Trust No One But ME. Dealerships Are Not Your Friend.
Used Tacoma prices are still super high! Finding a solid truck will take time, lots of junk with high prices. Took me 2 years to find the used truck I was specifically looking for. First thing I do is look at the under carriage for rust, then the other things like lower mileage, the rusty bolts, weird dents, worn bed, too many weird modifications, etc.. Those are signs of abuse. Fresh paint, painted over scratches, misaligned panels, Of course it all depends on what you will use the truck for and what they are selling it for? That may not matter for a low price work truck? Check the carfax, too many owners, accidents, no out of state cars imported into your state, And, get a pre purchase inspection from a reputable mechanic, its worth the cash!
Bravo same here 2wd 4 cylinder 23SR5 4 door 5 foot bed 18k miles $34000 super clean engine no rust underneath as in 2022 and 2023 no snow or ice means no brime or salt exposure on the road . I got lucky to find this one . Celestial Silver sits high. Fun to drive.
In St Augistine, Florida Beaver Toyota sold me a pre wrecked Tacoma and never told me before I bought it. I feel completely done dirty by their dealership. It was rear-ended before I got it. Also after I bought it I found out that they sold it to me over 6k over advertised price. I will tell anyone I know to not go to Beaver Toyota.
You’re right on the led factory headlights That’s the first thing I would do if I bought a used Tacoma because my 23 Tacoma came with the factory LEDs headlight and they are awesome
It's good to see Toyota adopting Levi's acid wash model, i mean, who wants to be seen in a nice new Toyota when you can have nicely worn & broke in one 😂
I've seen used cars now at new dealerships (honda, toyota, cadillac) that dont take pride of their used cars and you pay for refurbishing. They dont even vaccume interior and leave junk. What happened to these guys now
Rust on a Tacoma doesn’t mean much to me. What at $40,000 it does but I’ve seen so many Tacoma’s that are just their bodies are rusted and falling apart going through three and 4 foot deep models with no problem so a little rust doesn’t mean it’s not a cable off road vehicle but then you’re talking maybe 15,000 10,020 maybe
I tried for two years to find an old style Ranger with low miles and no rust. Just about impossible to find for less than the original MSRP. I gave up and bought a newer F-150 for less. Go figure.
Used prices are crazy on these things..I had a 3rd gen tacoma then a RAV4 and just recently bought a 24 frontier pro-x with all the goodies, leather sunroof, heated seats\steering wheel , upgraded sound stickered for 46k and got it for 40k and it's so much nicer than my 3rd gen taco.
The red truck is better condition than the second hand F150 2020 I bought a year ago and. I have a crease on right lower fender , a crease on the right roof post , dented passenger door. This is the only vehicle I found in a year for a work truck . I couldn’t pay for all the high end second hand trucks

In Australia that’s a Nudge bar, nothing like a bull bar. There’s a big difference.

It is used. Yes way over priced for its condition. It is not like they are hiding it
Stick with my 03 taco only 98,000 miles on it no rust

The steel wheels seal the deal for me! And $32k. Nice one 👍
Bull bar LOL. It's a nudge bar. Not designed for a hard hit and won't effect the trucks safety equipment unlike a bull bar.

The rust on the tail bolts probably due to abrasion from timber or other building products.
I like to check for matching factory monogram on all glass panels as well.
I got a 2022 tacoma access cab sr5 4 cylinder with 2600 miles on it a year ago this month for 28,000

Makes me really appreciate my 2018 lol

It's called Cheap Chinese Metal (With The Bolts) Those Roof dents are a little too similar (Factory?)

Can you check out the new tundra crewmax please
So you’re only complaint besides the dent is that someone is using a truck for its intended purpose thus making it no good
It's good to see Toyota adopting Levi's acid wash model, i mean, who wants to be seen in a nice new Toyota when you can have nicely worn & broke in one 😂
Roof dints are from the double stack car hualing trailer dudes
Tacos & Redbull
Not aBull bar! A Gerbil bar! 😹😹
Clown prices, someone will buy
Nothing wrong with the Ford Ranger it’s more reliable than the 4th gen. Tacoma.
😂you make me laugh
They didn't even wash it for $36,000..... that's insanity. Come on...
those were repoed last night.
Comment.....Prices are still STUPID HIGH!
Tacoma with 63000 miles for $37k?
I recently bought 2019 mint fully loaded Lexus ES 350 F-Sport Sedan with 36000 miles for $30k.
I've seen used cars now at new dealerships (honda, toyota, cadillac) that dont take pride of their used cars and you pay for refurbishing. They dont even vaccume interior and leave junk. What happened to these guys now
Dealers use to fix dents and scratches before they would re sell a vehicle.

Someone sat on the roof.
Sorry bud that ain’t no bull bar
$40k for a truck with a bed barely big enough to fit golf clubs? Not a fan.
I’d take a Ranger over the 💩 Taco any day!
I tried for two years to find an old style Ranger with low miles and no rust. Just about impossible to find for less than the original MSRP. I gave up and bought a newer F-150 for less. Go figure.
Save a few thousand and run down the road and buy a Nissan Frontier! No Mexico or turbos used in making them.

They're out to screw us
Clean that crap up
10K too much money
Reason why there blemish's & rust on them Toyotas is there made in Mexico & quality isn't as good.
ITS RED
way over priced with damage. rust from salt possibly I know my pool guy has a taco and his truck is always for of chemicals
36k for a piece of 💩.....the price should be 30k
Dealers don't care at all.
To much no thanks good bye toyota 😂😂😂
Toyota have become the most scummy car company and its dealers
Haha! You haven’t been to a Stellantis, Ford, Nissan or GM dealership. You want to see scummy, go to a CDJR dealer.
Scumbag Toyota junk
@@sokratzmmf Yes! I had to go to a Chevrolet dealer to get an honest deal on a used Toyota.

Those short bed trucks are worthless,. you cant haul anything
Average truck buyer these days isn’t using the bed much.
If it's a Tacoma it's a piece of garbage.
