Then bad things started happening and it will be years before they ever come back if ever. Over twenty years I always bought a Toyota never even looked at another truck but this year I replaced my Tundra with a Honda Ridgeline. Toyota just doesn't care about their customers any longer. I also traded my Avalon Limited Hybrid on a Lexus RX350 and so far so good but we will see. I never used to wonder about my decision with Toyota but no so much now.
The real reason is simple. I wouldn't buy a tacoma for the same reason i wouldn't spend $600.00 on a box of cereal. You don't get no where near the value of product for the price tag. Lower the price by 15k and then we'll talk.
4 cylinder garbage
No V6 and to much good bye toyota 😂😂😂
It’s hard to buy a New one when my 3rd gen 4Runner and My first Gen Sequoia won’t stop running 🤷🏽♂️
turbos are 4 cyl killers. End of.
People can barely afford housing much less way overpriced trucks
😂🤣😂 Used and abused car lot. They must have lost their brokers.
Thats like 12 tacomas. They will sell. These are new prices and everyone here suddenly cant afford the car. Move over
People are broke that's why they not buying 😂
3:04 --- Dude, not cool
So many videos lamenting the new Taco. Let's not pretend the previous was a perfect truck. Camry engine, low seating position, terrible gas mileage. That said, I decided to pick up a '23 4Runner TRD ORP with only 4K miles about a month ago to hedge my bets.
Camry engine is tried and proven, it will last. Seating position is subjective. Terrible gas mileage? Well go get a Prius. 4th gen Tacoma gas milage isn't that much better.
Fanboys must pretend EVERY Toyota is perfect, indeed. Their personal identity depends on it.
@@jeanclaude7018 Toyota lives rent free in your head. Admit it. How many hours a day do you spend thinking about Toyota?
@@westcoastplinkin6559 not many. Only when I see codependent fanboys making constant boot-licking comments on videos.
@@westcoastplinkin6559 Look in the mirror brother. I'M not the one who derives my personal identity by defending and loving a car company that neither knows nor cares that I exist. That's what fanboys do. They form a fantasy bond with a powerful entity to give them importance. It's the same principle that makes football fans identify vicariously with "THEIR" team, which does not even know the fanboy exists, just to feel part of a bigger thing and be part of a club. This gives them a vicarious "victory " over their mundane and frustrating existences.
Turbo=recalls
The chickens are finally coming home to roost at Toyota. 🐔 🐔 🐔 🐔 Declining quality, severe recalls, catastrophically defective turbo V6 and Corolla GR engines, failing transmissions, poorly-engineered BEVs and a recent scandal involving falsification of safety certification data. I'm not sure Toyota's lawyers or its prodigious global advertising budget can save it from this downward spiral this time.
Toyota is rubbish. It's a toy not a real automotive vehicle
Is that why they're used around the world wherever there is a conflict?
Because it's 20k overpriced , made in Mexico trash, that has known issues with transmissions failing with under 1000 miles?? Not rocket science 😅
I will not be buying one
Toyota purchased Subaru?!
They are selling very fast actually. The inventory has returned to the way it used to be.
New Corolla GR = FAIL (self-combusting engines)
New Tacoma = FAIL (cheap disposable turbo 4, auto/manual transmission failures, Mexican-made)
New Tundra/Sequoia = FAIL (Catastrophic turbo V6 engine failures, recalls galore)
New Lexus = FAIL (Catastrophic turbo engine failures)
New V35A V6 = Absolute FAIL (Recalled: Poor design and manufacturing)
New BZ4X & other BEVs = FAIL, FAIL, FAIL
Oh, how the mighty have fallen....
THANK BIDEN FOR 10% ANNUAL INFLATION. THERE IS 30% OF THE COST. ANYONE HERE HAVE AN I.Q. DO THE MATH. ITS NOT TOYOTA. IT IS INFLATION AND RATES. TRUMP 2024 SAVE AMERICA. IT IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. WHO CARES ABOUT TRUCKS
fall for ma$$ recall...
It's over priced
Overpriced.
Absolutely over priced and useless truck. Might as well buy a Honda ridge line
