Vac Man Pat strikes, woohoo! Thanks for another great review.
Looks really good Pat, great review!
Now I just need $2700 lol
The reason it has the single side brush is to clean against baseboards and other obstacles, it flings them away from the wall and will pick them up on its next pass(s). If it had a secondary side brush it would fling debris into the path it had already cleaned.
Have you tested or know if the Roborock can vacuum without issues tile floor that has slope of about 20 degrees from living room to kitchen?
Yeah it should be fine, the wheels are quite grippy.
Had a robovac that had mop option, never tried as never comfortable with water in this type of technology.
Sounds fancy but I wonder how it will stack up to the new Dyson 360deg robovac 🤔
Not having been in the market for anything this sophisticated (or expensive), I wasn’t aware of the Dyson.
A couple of things that seemed apparent about the Dyson;
1. It seems quite tall, so I’m not sure that it would fit under cabinets etc as well as most other robot vacuums?
2. Whilst is has a charging dock, it doesn’t seem to empty into that dock or have the water container in the dock, so it seems like you would be doing the maintenance that Pat mentioned, more frequently
Their products are pretty high quality though, so I expect it would perform very well on the cleaning side of things.
I have been trying to reach out to Dyson for a little while for a review sample
@@everyhandletaken No LIDAR, Optical mapping. Deal killer.
@@blackpaw29 the Dyson doesn’t have LiDAR ?
@@everyhandletaken Nope, saw a unboxing video and brief review for it, uses optical mapping tech, same as the Roomba bots, needs the lights on. Old tech these days and nowhere near as reliable as LIDAR.
There's a review stating the robot doesn't detect it's bin to be full while cleaning which was a problem for the reviewer 😂 man, your house is that grimy?!
waw it s 1500 dollars in Europe
