really appreciate you showing how the cleaning section in the dock gets dirty and can be removed. That looks pretty simple - the S7 has a complex mechanism which seems more complex if you have to clean it
The plastic tray you showed at 1:50 is the reason why I'm strongly considering this over the more expensive ones, I'm very lazy when it comes to cleaning these robots so this design is very helpful, I saw how the others work and they require more cleaning apparently.
I know right. This tray makes things soo much easier to clean and you barely ever have to do it too.
I only clean the tray maybe once every 2 months since it also gets cleaned while the mops get cleaned, washed and then dried.
That's awesome, I currently own the S7, very happy with it (no carpets, no pets, no children and I always remove obstacles before it starts) so I reckon I have no reason to look at the top-tier products, this one sounds just about right, cheers :)
I think it is important to mention that S7 has better object detection system compared to Q Revo, since Q Revo doesnt have a proper camera in front of the robot so it has a bit worse object detection, but if its no problem for you then thats great@@faber80mt

Just got this for myself for xmas it dose an amazing job I love it and hate vacuuming and mopping so I'm so happy with it!!! highly recommend
For me one of the biggest drawback which noone talks about is the mop drying noise! You can hear the dock for whole 2-4 hours after cleaning, because its drying. It maybe annoying for you, if its in the bedroom/near couch with TV etc. so take that in mind before purchase.

That is insane. I knew about this feature and had to put my ear up close because I wasn't sure if it was actually drying the mops, it was, it was just too quite to hear from anything further than 2 feet away. May just be an issue with your dock
You can disable that feature
9 months later but honestly I can barely hear it even if I'm next to it. It sounds like what you would hear next to your laptop that's running on fan.
Can you please tell me which robot vacuum you have mentioned with the spinning mops that are getting close to the wall borders? On the video, it’s hard to catch up with the name.

helpful video! Just wondering how you use it for upstairs? I can understand that we need to carry it up, does it fall from the edge of the stairs? if room is big, I assume we need to bring it down to statation to clean the mop and bring it back to work again.
@@victoriaweilei3949 you will need to carry the robot, he will map the rooms for you. Ohh and he will not fall of the stairs, he has sensors that he can detect it himself
I'm getting older in age and I need this to help me considering It's harder for me to get around.

How to use a Roborock Q Revo to clean multi-floors house? I have 3 floors, that means I have to have 3 machines, or 1 is good enogh? Tks
1 is good enough. The issue is that you will need to cary the robot.

Does it have a spot cleaning feature like the old roborocks?
It does. You can mark it on the phone and the robot will clean it

@@ZDEyE you can also hit certain buttons on top of the robot to command a spot cleaning, but off the top of my head I don't remember the sequence.
it sure does and it'll do a nice 5ft radius of cleaning on that spot
