Ray, that was probably THE best film I have watched on youtube ever, the views we astounding throughout. God only knows how many extra miles you put in with all the filming but so glad you did. Thank you so so much for taking us along, I felt for you tho with the bloody midges :-). you're some man. cheers and atb.

Absolute respect and hats off to you for coping with all that the weather threw at you, and having the patience to set up all those camera shots and do all that narration - on top of those massive days!!! Going into that "go-pro mode" for a while with the eerie music was fantastic, as was the rest of the video. I took my time with this one and it was well worth every second spent. Cheers from Norway, thanks, Ray!

What an achievement Ray. I’ve followed you on your adventures for many years now and you never fail inspire. Your films are always informative, honest and with useful tips on gear and locations. Keep up the great work. All the best.
It was really interesting to see the path you took around the falls of Glomach as we were about 20 feet below you clinging on for dear life unaware of the path above. Well done top video. Liked and subbed.
As late comer to your channel I am inspired by your trips, long may they continue. I have just started long distance walking at the age of 67, I have completed the C2C and the WHW, and more to come.
Wow! That track along the Falls was so scary even watching you from my armchair. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us, I would give anything to be able to walk in the wilderness but ill health prevents that. So I'll be living it through your eyes. Stay safe and thank you.
Very very much enjoyed this Ray. Came here from your WHW video (which has made me consider solo'ing it sometime next year) and again the production and content here are top-notch. Honestly, you should get your own television show with content this good. Take it easy.
I'm catching up with your videos Ray after only recently discovering your channel. The content you put out is fantastic and your lost valley video is coming up soon which takes me back as I wild camped there as a wee child with my father. Happy new year, stay safe and keep up the great vlogging.
Fantastic Ray, Brilliant videography, beautiful shots, good atmosphere and all that while putting in those long days and being eaten alive by midges. Great job! Cheers! Kris.
Thanks so much for putting the effort of making such a nice film! I know it's not easy with the rain and everything. Two years ago I walked the West Highland way, not sure if I saw your tent there as well or a lookalike but it works good on photos haha
Fantastic video. I was down for the Cape Wrath ultra this year but put it off until next year. And even then I may have to push it back until 2026. Gnarly stuff. Thanks for the amazing video. You're a frickin legend!
Really enjoyed the video of the CWT. Although I have not done CWT per se, I have done much of the paths you were on, on various trips over the years and it brought back happy memories of my time in the North West of Scotland. Thank you!
Congratulations Ray. You have produced a remarkable video in the most difficult of circumstances. In my opinion it's your best yet. You took everything that the trail and the weather could throw at you and remained stong. Well done man.
Really enjoyed that!! Love the wee bothys out in the middle of nowhere too. Great mental strength/grit to allow you to keep going on a challenge like this
Hi Ray. Great footage. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery you've captured is just awesome! I've had a few chances hiking in the NW Highlands, but not nearly enough. The only reason I can think of why we think doing things like this is hard is that we're just unused to it. Most of us have lost the art or don't even know how to walk. By that, I mean for any length of time. Just my humble opinion, though. Yours, by the way, is among the better footage I've seen among vids posted about hiking and the Outdoors. Hope you get or got a chance to do the second half.
Thanks for wathcing. I do have a multi part group of films of when I done the other half of the CWT I earlier on my channel. That section was the adventure from hell. Atb
Thanks for the video, the trail is hard enough in itself without all the effort of filming. Some fantastic scenery , enjoyed the part from Sourlies to Kinloch Hourn, we were there over the summer at Barisdale Bay.

Fabulous video of an amazing trip. 100% briliant idea to use the GoPro to shoot footage of the narrow path around the Glomach waterfalls. Very nicely done - perfectly shows the nature of the terrain and the various challenges that the route offers.
I'm sure I saw your tent ⛺ in the distance when I was staying at the bothy at glen deseree. Good video I'm going to do it again next year but gonna include west highland way 😃👌
That sounds cool. When I done my WHW film i was going to continue on to Ullapool for another week but the forecast for the week was terrible. Regret not doing it, but as you say doing both back to back would be epic. Atb with it.
Well done Ray, doing the WHW and CW in the same season is a great achievement. The filming is excellent along with the dialogue of what you’ve done or what to see in the distance etc.
Absolutely gorgeous footage of that most beautiful landscape- every shot is a stunner. Felt like I was with you every step of the way (in my dry comfy chair). All that back and forth with the camera certainly added a few km. to an already arduous trek. Well.... thanks! I thoroughly enjoyed that!
