I really like the concept of thermal tower, I hope the dev can add this to every server scenario and not just for the winter map. And then every season we can have different perks for it. That will open up to a lot of possibilities.

We have the same spot in that caldera to the south of Ashenton. Such a nice area but even when putting pumps into the water they still pull up oil. (not end of the world we can manually fill our water tabks lol)
why is it that when I participated in a thermal tower purification, I got nothing for rewards? If it's only territory owners who get rewarded for participating, It would be pointless to bother helping with purifications, or rather pointless to make it a public crisis.
Yesterday we built the tower, there are 8 people, today at noon German time 2 of us were online and a Chaosreaver spawned and destroyed a base until we got him down to 2 bars and he teleported away.
@Doomeris I seem to recall the Way of Winter video talking about defending your bases from Chaosweavers and it showed a thermal tower... the ones naturally spawned don't really move... and the ones I have seen naturally aren't spawned in an area that you could put a home and a tower...
I watched the video 5 times and i still don't understand is that tower supposed to be built in the middle of my base tile, or if i see someone has built one, can i just build next to it or do i have to join his hive or something?
I assumed that would be the case, most of the changes the tower causes aren't visual, so it makes sense that it would affect "underground veins"... a desired effect with minimal development effort.
@@r1leo714 Should be the same principle, it will only affect your Pumps, as if you'd place them in the ocean... or are you talking about something else now?
@@r1leo714 I just finished looking at it, the salt is still mined at the Mining Platform... I thought it would give you salt water, but nope, you farm salt from the platform... no idea what you'd use that much salt for, but hey, they put it in.
this is just for people who want to min max bro. u can always go the oldskool way of trial and error yourself if u want. u can experiment yourself in game too u know. some people just forget to play the game.
Have we found out whether biomass missiles are used in this scenario? I still haven’t picked my last memetic yet, because there’s red plasma round in it together with 3 other thing that’s really useful, like crystal set, deviation power generator and stardust mining platform
Does the thermal tower use your whole slot for building ? or can you place it anywhere and move your base close by so you have both tower and base ? :O
I was loving once human until the season change happened and my structure was uprooted for where it was at and I lost certain things I accumulated and was not able to place my structure back in the correct spot without parts of it being underground so I stopped playing it and lost interest.
I wanna ask , lets say I upgraded the pollution perk and oil perk does that mean my pump now has 1/3 chance to get oil and acid? what if I only want water is it unavoidable?
Well thats just too bad then I have chosen a place without water source nearby hahahaha i guess I am just gonna make do on going to nearby river once in awhile when that happen

I didn't log on for a few days and my thermal tower disappeared apparently. Do you know if it's lost forever or is there a way to recover it? I had it on level 11 so it would suck for me to lose all the research and materials...
Did you ever get an answer to this question? This happened to me yesterday. I got a message saying I could recall it but when I went to replace it, the dang batteries it took to make them didn't exist in my inventory, mailbox, or my vault so I was bamboozled despite it saying it refunded the supplies.
@@DarkmoonWitch Nope, but I figured it out myself. Whenever it disappears you need to get the resources to build it again and it's like it never went away. Your storage and levels remain the same as they were at the time it disappeared.
I got the acid perk, but my tower didn't give me any in 2 days, game completely bugged, I tried everything. Also interaction randomly goes off, when I relogging I can't change weapon and vise versa. Idk how to play that shit normally. Support don't reply

Did they fix the Generator? My generator does not produce 400-800 power... Double Perked in 55C degree. Guessing they fixed it? But problem is even at 35C and 55C it produces the same amount of 46.8 Power.

Yes there is a chance that an teleporting deviant spawns and that can spawn inside a house and bombarding the house from the inside out. Happend to me. My whole house was stil standing but all my decorations were gone all rooms are empty now all tech is also gone. I’m so done with that stupid tower. Deviants should not teleport or move through walls. And the purifying is so useless in rewards. Its not word it for me.

The tungsten and sulfer perk ONLY effects the mining platform, it will not make tungsten spawn near it.

it’s the “scenario”, each one giving a different story line. manibus, evolutions call and prismverse clash are some other ones to choose from.

I got also the Biomissiles +2 yield and the red plasma idk if its useful tho
You could probably use them for chaosweaver by making a missile truck, though that would limit you to only being able to use them on one world

I have the acid research unlocked and have never got any acid. What am I doing wrong
Mine didn't make acid until someone else applied for permissions & I approved them, it gave me 2k as soon as I approved and now I get 50 per hour
just buy Onion seed and plant them using Seed Fertilizer for making a lot of Fertilizer, dont use Apple
cant unlock any perk, yet build the tower itself only the platform, I cant click anywhere, its just bugged...

I see no point of this since nearly the whole map has tons of oil spots and polluted zones. This feels useless.
