Stories like this are still passed down and musicians from the former Eastern Europe still patronize Japan.
Now I still remember that, for a short while after the maestro and the orchestra members went back to East Berlin, nothing other than the video sources had been made up into a 'lazor disk', now extinct media form, and was sold in Japan. To my great sorrow, I couldn't get a copy, although the performance is---as you know--- excellent, like an fully activated volcano ! Thank for your upload.

気を衒ったところがなく、まっすぐな表現で心に響きますね。ちょうど同じころ、サントリーホールで、モーツァルトの39,40,41を聴いたのですが(CDになっています)、この演奏も生で聴きたかった。
この演奏は1981年ですからサントリーホールはまだ存在していません。
サントリーホールが開館したのは1986年です。
CDになっているスウィトナー&ベルリンのモーツァルトSym39・40・41は1978年の来日公演での演奏で、会場は東京厚生年金会館です。
スウィトナー&ベルリンがサントリーホールでコンサートをやったのは1988年の来日公演のみです。
スウィトナーは頻繁に来日したので貴方様の記憶がごちゃごちゃになってるのではないでしょうか。

@@no-do3gx 악보 베렌레이터 판본에도 그렇게 기재되어 있지 않습니다.지휘자가 팀파니스트를 향해 손으로 신호를 하고 있고 팀파니는 엔딩을 다시 한번 강조하고 있습니다. 이것은 데논반 (81년.8월31일) 연주와도 다르고 데논반에서는 팀파니를 강조하지 않았습니다
