It's relaly refreshing to see someone that not only wants to create a lived-in world, but also wants to live in it. Crossing the Crimson Brother's Bridge every time you head out on an adventure is one of the things that makes this among the best Minecraft channels.
For the pots, you can break them back down to bricks and store them that way to save inventory space, then just craft pots as needed. Punching them and breaking them with a tool yield different results between getting the pot and the brick. I can't remember which is which right now, but that's easy enough to figure out.
The dye shop may just be my favorite building ever made in Minecraft. I love the Gothic design, love the "splashes of paint," love the interior, and love those hanging signs all facing slightly different angles, as if they're slowly moving in a breeze.
When you were walking between the dye shop and the greenhouse I felt like I was watching a Ghibli movie!! And the interior of the building is incredible!!!
Gotta admit that bdubs contines to age like fine wine with his builds. The old castles were so busy and noisy, this is a perfect contrast to that style. I loved the first world and all the different kingdoms.
Me literally every time Bdubs shows the finished product of a build as if I haven’t seen him build all of this and yet am still amazed every time: woah :0
Your videos are so inspirational. Not just in terms of building on Minecraft, but just generally putting the effort in to make things look good, trying new things, putting your own spin on things... Your builds look amazing, your videos are so entertaining, keep it coming BDubs!
I forgot that banners were even in the game, and you used them in such a unique way!! I’m utterly amazed by all the details; I especially love the candles on the iron gates. Bravo, Bdubs! ^^
My favorite part of that whole amazing thing is honestly the alleyway, with the open gate and little barrels and things put in against the walls. It just looks so good, and I love how you detail the things around the main build too, so it blends in with the rest of the world better. Really beautiful job, you’ve been on a roll!
27:47 I don't know why, but that just clicked. these few seconds were like having Ernest P Worrell playing Minecraft. with the amount of dedication Jim Varney put into that character I can say that Bdubs has put in the same or more into his. in my mind, that's worthy of celebration
anyone else finding themselves finding a pen and note block whenever bdubs is uploading to take notes on how to become a better builder? find myself learning something new every episode or at the very least having a laugh
Really appreciate the time you’ve invested in trying to work on vertical curves/angles with the walls and such!!! Always been super tough compared to horizontal combos with slabs and trap doors- thanks for giving me lots of ideas!
Oh. So great! I have a survival cathedral I’ve been slowly working on for about 3 years I’ve been working on using lots of walls & stairs to capture the detail. This helps me so much to see how you can implement color into the build cause it was feeling a little plain white between the quartz & diorite. Thanks for sharing your discoveries & ideas! ❤
Your builds always feel so magical to me, and I’m starting to think it’s because of how uniquely immersive your style is. It feels like walking around in a ghibli movie, but all the characters are gone
Damn the ghast shot 😮 I love the download idea. I learn by doing. I typically take a million screen shots of your build with my phone. Then I recreate block by block. It helps me get back into the groove of building.
I'm so glad I started watching this series while these techniques were still being found out. I feel like you're on the absolute vanguard of what's possible with building in Minecraft, Bdubs!
Dang bdubs is just too good at building for the rest of us. I hope he can do a terraforming episode or an episode helping merge the relatively primitive original village with the busier and sophisticated commercial district. I think both sections look amazing on their own, but I want to see him address the unique challenge of blending them… :) nothing bdubs can’t do!
Bdubs if you see this I have watched every episode of building with bdubs other than like the first 50 episodes of season 1 I also happen to be a stone mason for keystones and cornerstones. Of the near decade I’ve been watching you that glass store / cathedral is the most impressive and inspiring build I’ve seen you make (other than ivy rows I believe)
this build is honestly amazing! ive built with walls before, but never with that amount of detail and design! it makes me want to rebuild my tower to make it better!
I love the colour splats on the building! Just an idea... you could do a fresco to make the roof seem lighter and at the same time make the interior more colourful! Still very impressed by this new episode! Much love!
I've been a massive fan of walls ever since they were changed recently. I think the biggest issue I have is that you can't embed doors into them, but I get why it's not a thing. I always struggled with using them for exteriors, because any connecting blocks on the inside will make that line of walls stand out. I never considered making EVERY wall stand out though. It's a mesmerizing effect, and seeing it in this episode blew my mind. I'm definitely ramping up my wall usage now.
The bridge could be decorated with lots of stalls and traveler decorations to breathe some life into it - entrances to friendly villages always have a lot of life around them.
Bdubs, I love the idea of you creating a setting in the desert/mesa. Asteroid city that came out recently could be some great inspo as the terrain seems to really fit and Wes Anderson has a really unique style :)
i havent watched you in a really long time. almost 5 years! youre still doing the best my friend. im so happy to see you. your builds are always so beautiful. take care!
Petition to add a temple on the outside of the crimson brothers bridge that will lead to the nether, some cool portal to a potential future nether hub or build? But that would solve the problem of missing the 'ceremony' of leaving home to explore the world. Could be really neat :)
I loved the gothic stained glass tower so much, I told a friend to watch your last video. That it would inspire them more. They thanked me and said your build was awesome.
one thing that really popped out for me is how the fence gate/window pane combo gives a more rounded look to the build rather than the sharp 90 degree angle that is usual in minecraft.
Bdubs uploading on the day I need it most. Thank you. Had to say good-bye to the cute little car my mom used to pick me up from elementary school in because I was re-ended three weeks ago returning to work from lunch. We had that car about 20 years. Gone in a fraction of a second.
Really loving the gothic direction you’re taking these builds, it’s starting to make me want to see some gargoyles, like those in the 1984 Ghostbusters.
Bdubs, in the alley it would be cool to see some permanent scaffolding set up to look the the owner of the dye building can’t decide on what color to paint the building so he just keeps going from wall to wall testing new paints.
I agree, the dye shop looks to be the most detailed thing I've ever seen you build! I would love to have it to take a closer look at how you did everything. I kept pausing to try to see the different blocks you used. Like the front entrance has blast furnaces with buttons on top of the grindstones, it looks AMAZING and I need to get in there to study
I feel like the thumbnail “spoils” the reveal a little bit, before I even clicked on this video I looked so deep into your thumbnail to see the detail, absolutely incredible
I love your cinematic-esque style of video making! (specially, and oddly, your sponsored segments) it's really interesting how you do these things and i'd love to someday be able to make something similar for myself. Also, Bdubs! For farther render distance you totally could either a) Make your world into a private server and run it off of your own PC or b) Use the Distant Horizons mod (showcased by Ilmango on his scicraft series as well as many others). it has independent fog settings so if you want the fog to be really near then you might have some problems setting it up, but it's worth it!
I like the paint splattered shop. Your budding city was coming out a little grey, and was thinking you might need to replace the monument with an acutal large tree to bring some much needed lively color. I think you could still do that in the future, make it look like a large tree grew underneath the monument and the monument is now held up inside the three
a bdubs and etho upload on the same day?! my favorite duo ever!! :D unfortunately I’m about to go shopping so I won’t be able to watch this but as soon as I’m home I’m watching this immediately!!
Before finishing the episode i was going to comment that the new grey building was blending in with the other builds. Then i saw the front and sides, with the colours thrown in like a five year old left alone with paints. It looks fantastic! GG Bdubs
Been loving all of the Building with Bdubs videos these past couple of months. The idea of giving your builds out for download for us to explore is a great idea!
Does anyone else miss his old intro where he was singing? I miss that voice. LOVE your videos, @BdoubleO100! Thank you for your time to entertain us all. 💕
I remember when you played Foolcraft and made your house unbelievably detailed using the Chisel & Bits mod; Looks like you found a way to transfer that into the real game using Walls & Glass panes! Absolutely incredible build.
I think a lovely place for a stable would be in the field just yonder of the Crimson Bridge. You could have have a travelling horse, maybe some mules etc ready to go for adventuring. This way you won't have to re-adjust the walkway height of the bridge + the horses will have a nice tranquil area away from the bustling urban life.
Etho and Bdubs episode back to back in a day? What is this, christmas?
Must be
Oo I missed the etho upload ty
Xmas in July!🎉
Between Etho's dragon egg room and Bdubs last two builds/videos, definitely some technique pioneering going on to masterful results.
I was saying it takes me back to the good ole days
It's relaly refreshing to see someone that not only wants to create a lived-in world, but also wants to live in it. Crossing the Crimson Brother's Bridge every time you head out on an adventure is one of the things that makes this among the best Minecraft channels.
Bdubs and Etho in the same day ^^ it's so cool seeing people build such awesome things
right
We’re damn lucky to have them both 10 years on
Etho too?! Imma switch, Etho first!
We are truly spoiled!
ikr! i watched them back to back lol
That interior tho 🤯 can’t believe how nice the hanging signs are!
For the pots, you can break them back down to bricks and store them that way to save inventory space, then just craft pots as needed. Punching them and breaking them with a tool yield different results between getting the pot and the brick. I can't remember which is which right now, but that's easy enough to figure out.
Tools return the materials, punching gives you the pot as is
@@riuphane Thanks for clearing that up!
Ya sure, but is still VERY ANNOYING mojang refuses to fix inventory
Such a bummer that they don't stack when they're plain
punching and silk touch@@riuphane
The dye shop may just be my favorite building ever made in Minecraft. I love the Gothic design, love the "splashes of paint," love the interior, and love those hanging signs all facing slightly different angles, as if they're slowly moving in a breeze.

bdubs is like the bob ross of minecraft builds!! thanks for all these tips!
edit: and the youtube compression never does his detail justice!
Your builds look amazing, your videos are so entertaining, keep it coming BDubs!
bdubs never fails to impress with his creativity and innovation, amazing episode per usual!
Really inspirational for sure!
I forgot that banners were even in the game, and you used them in such a unique way!! I’m utterly amazed by all the details; I especially love the candles on the iron gates. Bravo, Bdubs! ^^
The candles on the bars is a fantastic idea, surprised I haven't seen that before
My favorite part of that whole amazing thing is honestly the alleyway, with the open gate and little barrels and things put in against the walls. It just looks so good, and I love how you detail the things around the main build too, so it blends in with the rest of the world better. Really beautiful job, you’ve been on a roll!
Bdubs is the king of the anti-timelapse and I love it!
Man, its just a blessing to see your art. This series is one of the very few i still watch of minecraft on YT. Keep up this great work.
The dye shop is INCREDIBLE!! I was speechless when you revealed it! I am going to shamelessly steal this technique.
I love how it is such a historical medieval town center where new builds and factories start appearing at the end of it.
"I am trying to get rid of all my chests, and the dyes were taking up half of one chest... so lets make an entire building!" ... love!
That twisted hanging sign at the front is a mesmerising point of detail. love it.
27:47 I don't know why, but that just clicked. these few seconds were like having Ernest P Worrell playing Minecraft.
with the amount of dedication Jim Varney put into that character I can say that Bdubs has put in the same or more into his. in my mind, that's worthy of celebration

im in love with the dye shop, the idea to have paint drooping all over it is a great idea
Your builds always feel so magical to me, and I’m starting to think it’s because of how uniquely immersive your style is. It feels like walking around in a ghibli movie, but all the characters are gone
Damn the ghast shot 😮
I love the download idea. I learn by doing. I typically take a million screen shots of your build with my phone. Then I recreate block by block. It helps me get back into the groove of building.
I really loved your castle in 3rd life, imagining a re-do of that with all these new details you've discovered since would be amazing to see
I'm so glad I started watching this series while these techniques were still being found out. I feel like you're on the absolute vanguard of what's possible with building in Minecraft, Bdubs!
11:47 There is more suspicious sand to explore in that desert temple
Dang bdubs is just too good at building for the rest of us. thank god for this steady stream of BWBdubs
"I am from the surface!" Is now my new battle cry😂
This is absolutely beautiful! I'm moved! You're by far the best builder in Minecraft in my opinion.
man, Bdubs building has gotten so good that he's double glazing windows now
I love the colour splats on the building! Just an idea... you could do a fresco to make the roof seem lighter and at the same time make the interior more colourful! Still very impressed by this new episode! Much love!

You keep raising the bar Bdubs, its Incredible!
Once the world is more built it would be nice to invite some hermits to visit.
This is the only MC content I watch nowadays, so inspirational!
Idk why I suddenly got bored of Minecraft videos Fhwip and Bdubs are the only Minecraft TH-camrs I watch nowadays
The bridge could be decorated with lots of stalls and traveler decorations to breathe some life into it - entrances to friendly villages always have a lot of life around them.
This is the best Minecraft series on TH-cam.
its hard to believe that some of these building techniques are vanilla, they look so good!
please give us more Building with bdubs!
Bdubs, I love the idea of you creating a setting in the desert/mesa. Asteroid city that came out recently could be some great inspo as the terrain seems to really fit and Wes Anderson has a really unique style :)
Bdubs is the only channel which I get excited for the commercial breaks🤣👌
really love what you're doing in this world. this is my favorite series now.
i havent watched you in a really long time. almost 5 years!
youre still doing the best my friend. im so happy to see you. your builds are always so beautiful. take care!
There's a developer out there somewhere, watching bdubs realize how cool the walls are, sobbing because someone sees their hard work.
The artist at work again! Always at an awe seeing all these different builds by you Bdubs!
Petition to add a temple on the outside of the crimson brothers bridge that will lead to the nether, some cool portal to a potential future nether hub or build? But that would solve the problem of missing the 'ceremony' of leaving home to explore the world. Could be really neat :)
With that style, i feel like you can finally redo the village church and save that poor villager
The dye shop sounds like something you can get creative with dyed leather armor plus armor trims.
Bdubs uploading on the day I need it most. Thank you. Had to say good-bye to the cute little car my mom used to pick me up from elementary school in because I was re-ended three weeks ago returning to work from lunch. We had that car about 20 years. Gone in a fraction of a second.

THAT’S your first return to sender on this save?! Amazing
bdubs you have gotten me entirely back into Minecraft 12 years after the first time! My building has gotten 10x better in just a few months!
BDubs I absolutly am loving this series! It takes me back to season 1 like 9 years ago!
Love the hanging signs! The ones outside reminded me of a spin y wind charm.
yea I was seeing the same thing in that too! My brain totally flatlined for a second because of how awesome those hanging signed were 🤤😂
These last 2 builds are 2 of my favorites from bdubs and that's a seriously high standard.
this one is fireee ❤🔥 could see a steam punky sheep/wool machine going somewhere nearby this as well
That was the absolute best "Return To Sender" I've ever seen in this game, full stop.
Perfect follow-up for Etho's vid this morning 🙌🎉
For me it's late evening (eastern Europe), and it's just perfect videos to watch before SHREEPing 😴
Loving all the building with bdubs recently
it’s been great
Amazing as always good sir, that dye building looks spectacular. Also very nice touch with the candles on the iron fences
I love your cinematic-esque style of video making! (specially, and oddly, your sponsored segments) it's really interesting how you do these things and i'd love to someday be able to make something similar for myself.

That really was a clutch shot on that Ghast 15:05 someone needs to make a soundbyte out of the "Im amazing!" Bit
4:30 You can smash pots with a sword and you will get the bricks back that way you can store them easily.
This also works with sherds as well.
Before finishing the episode i was going to comment that the new grey building was blending in with the other builds. Then i saw the front and sides, with the colours thrown in like a five year old left alone with paints. It looks fantastic! GG Bdubs
Love the new building! As always, you are a master texturizer. The splashes of paint are so freakin cleaver.
I feel like every build you do is the best building ive ever seen. Great stuff as usual!
Where’s building with bdubs gone 😢 I love this world so much!
Keep em coming Bdubs! Loving this season. Amazing work
I remember another really cool dye store Bdubs was involved with back in the day called "Hope you dye!"
Been loving all of the Building with Bdubs videos these past couple of months. The idea of giving your builds out for download for us to explore is a great idea!
bdubs continues to be my number 1 minecraft artist! the details and way he adds light and shadow! inecredible
I enjoy your process SO MUCH! Is always like a master class
Does anyone else miss his old intro where he was singing? I miss that voice. LOVE your videos, @BdoubleO100! Thank you for your time to entertain us all. 💕
Always an honor and pleasure to witness Bdubs' incredible prowess! 😌
i love how bdubs is always full of creatvity! it makes my day!
Theres a mod called Enhanced Block Entities that makes entities such as decprated pots render from far away!
I can not get over just how creative you are with design in this game, would that I have half your artistic eye!
What if you used the glass+wall trick to mimic corrugated steel? I think that could look sick!
your prowess is unmatched....as is your red stone yeniuseness....i salute you young man
I love the Building with Bdubs series so much.
Its really inspired me and I want to build a pretty world too!
I remember when you played Foolcraft and made your house unbelievably detailed using the Chisel & Bits mod; Looks like you found a way to transfer that into the real game using Walls & Glass panes! Absolutely incredible build.
Your an o g if you remember the fool craft days. I miss that series.
Can’t believe bdubs passed up “did you guys witness my quickness” in exchange for “witness my prowess”….what a world oh the humanity
i think bdubs is my favourite builder, the sheer detail and new ideas he has always inspires me
Amazing dye shop, thanks for the great episode :)
Solid stuff as always! You are such a huge inspiration, always pushing the envelope of creativity, both in Minecraft, and in your amazing editing.
The interior reminds me so much of an art store, what an amazing build!
