I wish the Pokemon company would use the deluxe battle decks to showcase proper rogue tier/tier 2 decks like Alakazam ex or Blastoise ex instead of what is essentially a level 1 deck with 2 more ex cards.
GG! Even though I was playing the stock Deluxe deck with no changes (ugh), in retrospect I definitely could have made some different choices to give myself a better shot at taking the win. To your credit, you played it well and your deck was built well relative to the strategy you were going for. If/when we run into each other again, I hope I am playing a somewhat better deck than this Zapdos one lol
What are the odds of seeing a video if you pick up one of these and one of the Miradon league battle decks. Probably the combo I’m gonna pick up for irl play. Would love to see how they pair
I think that I'll stick with Meowscarada. Evolution decks are getting support in Temporal Forces and if I really want a Zapdos kit in my Miraidon, I'd just pick up singles.
@@InThirdPerson I think buddy poffin (or buddy-buddy poffin, I've heard both) counts for lost box in general, as does crisis shot. For Goodra specifically maybe not, but I know my build is gonna be changing a decent amount. I'll definitely be running both Manaphy and Jirachi as well as Ditto 151, who knows what else once more cards are announced
I'm now wondering if Goodra is one of the few decks that has an excuse to run something other than prime catcher, namely hero's cape, just announced this morning.
I am just beginner. I recently tried playing Miraidon. I want to put Arven in it. I am just confused. Can I use Arven even if I don't have Pokemon Tool in the deck? Can I just get an item card?
@@InThirdPerson Oh, I see. I came from yu-gi-oh. I guess I got used too the mechanic if there is no target or you cannot have two of the targets, you cannot use the effect of the card.
Deck so poorly built that inthirdperson was gifted 2 prize cards playing against a deck weak to electric attacks and he still was praying to eek out a win. 😂 Good video. Nice to see how the deck performs.

I like the idea of the Zapdos/Hawlucha tactic. Would this deck be worth picking up to edit the trainers and make it better?

You can play Arven even if you don’t have any tools in the deck. But you definitely would want to play Arven to grab both.

I think I missed it though, what cards are in this deck that are worth getting and don’t already come in the Battle League Deck?
Zapdos, Hawlucha, Super Rod, Bravery Charm, …maybe Earthen Vessel, though those hurt the consistency of Electric Generator.
