My grandfather was in Korea and he was similar to Walt, he believed in hard work and being a true man, he did throw around the racist remarks but he never hated any other race he just spoke his ind and he said "if they're acting like slopes then they're slopes." But at his funeral all his friends from Korea came which was Asian, Black, Hispanic, Jewish, Middle Eastern, and white. A cuban guy even gave a small eulogy for him and he brought up his remarks he always said to him and how he would laugh it off because he knew that he was just being him but how he saved his life countless times.
