We Spent the Night Inside an Airport’s Most Unusual Hotel

This was our first time in a sleeping pod, and no, this sleeping pod is not in Japan. Sleeping pods and capsule hotels are becoming increasingly popular across the globe, and we found one in London.
We spent the night in Yotel Air, a hotel inside Gatwick Airport south terminal, and in this video we are doing a room tour of YotelAir. This hotel was great as we had to catch a flight to Portugal at 6:40 am, so we thought it was super convenient to spend the night in this weird sleeping pod.
Overall, the decoration of the hotel made it look like a space ship, with bright pink colours. The room was fantastic for one night, it had a really spacious bathroom (with amazing shower pressure and temperature), a lot of storage for a compact room and an electric bed, yes, you heard it right!
We slept like babies, and in the morning, we only had to walk about 2 minutes until we reached security. There is no other hotel that close to Gatwick Airport. Although Yotel Air Gatwick has only 3 stars, our stay there was perfect and we would happily give it 5* as the staff was efficient and friendly and the rooms were completely sound proof. BUT the stay was a bit on the expensive side, especially because we stayed in the premium room (room with a double bed).
