Fuck the whole thing man! although the 00:33:05 OPEN OCEAN Unknown Journey X 2013 - Journey of the Deep Sea Dweller IV music fits soooo well and the way it shifts from previous level! super awesome!
I really love this. The aquatic sci-fi themes of Drexciya fit great with Ecco's storyline. In particular, the grittier/more industrial tunes for the last stretch of levels fits perfectly. It makes me wonder what other classic games would work well with such an alternate soundtrack. Admittedly, I'm still a bit new to Drexciya. Does anyone have a tracklist for the songs used in the video?
Thanks ! Well, actually the sonar sound is a lot higher when you download the game, or at least it was the case for me. I think I remember me cutting about half of it before even considering playing the game, maybe more. Otherwise, I was always going to let sound effects in play, improvise and hope to create cool moments with it, even if the damage sound can be especially irritating for some.
@@OldSchoolBobby This is way cool. Came here as a fan of Drexciya. I agree you should leave the sound effects in but a bit lower in the mix might be better.
This is one of the best things on youtube.
drexciya works *way* too well for this

Nice combo indeed, i have a phantasy of a Metroidvania game based on Drexciya universe.
This is still my fave youtube video!
Thanks for both comments ! I'd be interested to know which parts you enjoy the most, or your favorite moment if you have one.

@@OldSchoolBobby Well, goes to show how observant I am. Thanks so much!
Dope
Superb!
This is ace. One minor criticism is that the game sounds are mixed a little bit too high. They're a bit jarring, especially the sonar sounds.

the sonar has always been jarring that's why they 'muffled' it and shortened it a bit for Ecco Tides of Time
