For the solo expat who wants to enjoy condo living in Cebu, these 3 areas are spot on. Lived here for 16 yrs and can't disagree with anything. Great video!
I stayed at the Waterfront hotel for a week when i was in Cebu, nice and clean. Name is deceptive because its no where near the water, Ayala mall was just minutes away, lots of historical places to see, mountaintop is a must, crossed the bridges to Mactan and it has several beaches on the far side that are ok
I just moved into a Condo in Mabolo and I'm very happy in this part of Cebu City compared to before. I lived in an open subdivision in Consolacion. I wouldn't recommend the area but now I live in walking distance to Landers and close to SM Cebu and Ayala. For me it's the best location. There's not much on the street itself but it's a good location without paying IT Park prices. The building has an exercise area and a pool that's open, Security.
Thanks for a good look around Gio, I like Mandaue, It’s handy for Ayala, SM City, the North bus terminal and of course the airport. Enjoyed the look around Times Square Two, as I didn’t see that when I was there. That restaurant was huge .
City Time Square 4:00 You got to love all those cars parked right in the center ! So you feel like you are sitting in the middle of a parking lot ... Very cool and well thought ! 👍
There is an upcoming Gateway Business Park in the old North Bus Terminal Gio, it is a new business park in Mandaue co-develop by Ayala and Aboitiz group. There will be another Ayala Mall there as well and it will be built with several condos later on and just a little distant from Parkmall and Mandani Bay. Also, to correct you Gio, IT Park and Cebu Business Park are in Cebu City while City Times Square is in Mandaue City next to Cebu City

I would agree it is a great area you covered today, if it was a little over a year ago it would be packed. Clubs are around that area as well. Too bad it isn't Tokyo table anymore, we don't need more Korean BBQ here in Cebu.

just returned from having diner at the WOORIJIB Korean Buffet.. what a so very good restaurant.. excellent, is the word that describes the food and service.. had a great experience.. thanks for the "heads up".. the band was a bit loud but then again, we dined about 20' away.. thanks again..
I had to replay video and do a screenshot of the price menu. Can read the details but I get the price range of the type of these meats. Are these all you can eat? Is the buffet separate from the “cook-at-your-table” dishes or all of these cook at your table? If there is just a buffet menu, how much is that?
You are right on! Ayala Mall (old Ayala Mall) area and IT Park are the best areas, and they are in walking distance of each other, btw. I guess I see the Park Mall area as not quite as good as the first 2 you mentioned.
Actually the speed of the two Telco companies are changing due to the entry of a third Telco which offers internet speed that will blow out the competition, those two are updating their services with regards to internet connectivity, of the two Globe is the slowest while smart is faster and catching up with the new company called DITO Teecommunity whether in 4G or 5G.
Cebu may be the place I retire to. That is where my wife is from. But I might not live in Cebu city it's self I'm more of a rural guy and want to have a large garden and a few farm animals
I looked at a very small studio condo there and I wasn't happy with the size of the unit. It looked like a hotel room with no balcony and the kitchen sink wasn't working. The pool is nice there but I'm right around the corner from there in walking distance to Landers.
Can you kindly answer questions I asked in the Comment section of a prior video. Why did Schwab close your account? Did closure come after giving a non-USA address? Can you open a Transferwise (now called Wise) account, if you are not at your USA residence? Same with Remitly? I tried with another 3rd party transfer company; telephoning its Canada office, it said USA security law did not allow me to open an account if I was not at my USA residence. Thanks in advance.
I don't have exact confirmation but probably they figured I was not in the USA by my IP address and then closed my account due to that. That is one order of business I will do when I am back in the USA is open a Schwab account. I originally gave my US address and everything but in the background them must have checked IP address.
You cannot use a US brokerage account when your not in the U S to get around it use a VPN. I know all about it I went through the closure of my account.
The only other way around it open an international account but you’ll be paying additional taxes. They will with hold taxes on your dividends and any profits not good

You have to ride a ferry from cebu to dumaguete. As for valencia, do you mean valencia bukidnon or valencia negros?

All the vloggers I have seen quarantined online were allowed to quarantine with family. But still check to make sure
