You're at your best interacting with the locals Terry. That New York gift of the gab.
One of the best I have seen has a great style, enjoyable to watch
Thank you kind sir🙏
❤❤❤
@jimalvir5866 Right?.. He is from "Flower-da". They didn't know the difference. Real Floridians say "Floor-da".. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for showing the way of life for most Philipino people. I'm always impressed by the happiness they show.
You are the clean version of the Philippines vlogger, Regular Guy. You’re comical and interact very well with the locals. You keep your audience engaged. Well done.
Thanks William! It's a relief to know I'm clean lol🙏
@@BarefootVlogger I define clean as your subject matter is not focused on the female anatomy and what you and your viewers can do with said anatomy. You are also clean in the way you groom. I can’t speak to body odor until Artificial Intelligence comes up with “scratch and sniff” vlogs
You deserve every like and subscriber with your humility and appreciation of the culture and never talk down or think you're superior unlike some other vloggers. More people need your attitude! Peace my brother.
So glad to hear you say that. Thanks Les🙏
Another worth watching video from Terry the Barefoot Blogger.
Good camera work and interaction with locals
I really enjoyed watching coz I didn’t come to Cebu yet even im a Filipino. I will be waiting for more of your videos to watch . Have a good day sir !!
Love it! Walking and Talking!
Hey Terry you blend in very well with the people nice positive 🇵🇭 vibes. Thanks for sharing 👌🏾👏🏾
I enjoy watching your vlogs!
So glad🙏
Gee Terry, your Philippines content is getting better and better. Well done.
Thanks for the vote of confidence my friend🙏
Congratulations Barefoot❤you just made it in Carbon 45:14 ❤Best part was when you presented Magellan’s Cross in such a dramatic way❤great vlog
It was destiny to happen upon that piece of history in this incredible city. Thanks Jane🙏
He missed the Cathedral Church and Plaza Independencia, just around the corner of Magellan's Cross / Basilica de Sto. Nino.
Terry I been watching since the very beginning of your channel. Keep up the good work I think you found your rhythm I loved all your FL videos and now I love all these traveling videos to SE Asia !
I love to hear that, thanks Patrick🙏
lovely Terry love the helpfulness and interaction with the locals.keep them coming my friend.
Thank you brother
The added info captions are great, real pro editing Barefoot
Have to watch this over again on the big screen, so much too take in from Colon St to Carbon Market, you really captured the atmosphere, the magulo (sweet chaos) of the Philippines in this one, just beautiful. Love it Terry and that you genuinely like the hustle and bustle.
Thanks Jim, this is a walk I will never forget
and barely any tourists so you interact with pure locals and culture, that is why Cebuanos call Colon Street the Heart of Cebu.
Well, done Terry good job. Love the Brooklyn Way.
thank you for exploring the Philippines i wish you a good and safe travel
Right now you're in the oldest street of the country, Colon street.
Cebu I.T. park and Cebu Business Park is where you should stroll also for the modern side of the city.
Hi Terry‼️ thank you for this video🫶 welcome to Cebu. I grew up in Cebu. New subscriber here. Greetings from Europe👋
Merci beaucoup Evely🙏
Enjoy your stay in Cebu City. COLON is the oldest street in the Philippines
Nice vlog yoh show real live .so i see some part of cebu now ehehe take care terry😊❤
Dude you have more interactions with Filipinos in one day than I’ve had in a decade living here.
Hope to get to interact with you someday brother! 🙏
you finally made it to where im staying! congrats!
Safe travels and have fun
Colon st the oldest street in the country has no sidewalks when it was built since there was no urban planning at that time , infact there no vehicles yet , only horse carriage as a means of transportation where the streets serves also as the sidewalk
I enjoyed watching your vlog all the time. Watching from palm springs, California.
Hello barefoot I always watching your vlog since I followed you .I never been in Cebu..but while I watch your vlog I feel I been there in Cebu 😂take care always ❤❤❤❤
Woohoo, you've finally got there at the Magellan Cross and I've also been there for the first time in my life. Hope you will enjoy more of your trip here in so-called The Queen City of the South. Take care, Sir.
Hello i always watch your vlog
Thanks for watching my friend, appreciate it🙏
@@BarefootVlogger do you have mesenger call idol or facebook im pilipino Philippines
Hi Terry! Thanks i found your channel. I love watching your travel in the Philipppines. I believe you can buy a Philippines hats and some souvenirs where tourist spots not in local market.
The Filipino people are so nice and easy to talk to
So many Filipinos become maritimers. It’s just who they are because of all the ports throughout the Philippines. They are ofw who travel and work for months sometimes years at a time. Shipping is a huge industry.
No matter how hard people in the Philippines are, as long as they are happy, friendly and respectful. 😊❤
Terry, when these trips started , you were at around 52, 000 subs and now at 76, 000 and climbing. Looking forward to when you hold up that '' 100,000 Subscribers Plaque ''
Thanks for the support, it's been an amazing journey
It’s a nice place-I haven’t been there in decades. I still miss the Cebu BBQ pork.
the never-ending search for colon street was a bit of work! glad that you found the famous landmark street sign & meeting nice people along the way. but after finding & seeing the sign, the best part was finding 'magellan's cross' that was the highlight, a reward for your persistence in getting to colon street. cheers!😊😍
I think i saw you in metro colon who vlogging while crossing street.
Thanks Terry I don't know how you do it ! But I absolutely appreciate ...All Your" Experiencies" ! "" Thank you for being Adventurous!
Life's about the experiences! Thanks for joining me on them Jill and for all your support🙏
I miss you a lot cebu my hometown thank you sir for vllogging this god bless you
You have some same feel like me. I love to see how people live, hustle. I also scared of street food, I will not drink any ice water too on the street.
OMG I miss this place a lot before I used to pass this street everyday when I go to school high sch. until college days
Nice content 👍🇵🇭
Thanks for showing Cebu, a city with no sidewalk and open street canals. I heard Iloilo city is the best city in that region. Hope you can blog on it on your way to Boracay if you are planning to.
Good evening.take care in blogging.God bless❤❤❤
Stay safe and God Bless Beerfoot..💗💗
Yes, the sidewalks in metro Manila are a challenge! You have to be aware of where you put your feet 😂. How I miss my home country!
Yes the side walk, can be safer walking in the road especially at night in some places, unnerving at first keep thinking you might get run over, and the amount of people out at night just sitting and chilling, in New Zealand the streets are just about empty by 8pm or earlier 😊
the whole straight lane is colon street (cololmus street)
the lane straight lane after that is Magallanes street (magellan street) that will lead you to the Sto Nino Basilica and Magellans cross
You are heading to Carbon Market. Tabuan is another market that sells dried fish. Baranggay Ermita is one of the roughest neighborhood in Cebu. You are ballsy to walk there with your camera. I'm saying that with respect.
Thanks for the heads up
Cebu Part 2 looking forward to this one
Have fun in the Philippines,sir😊
FYI COLON ST COMES FROM "CRISTOBAL COLON" (CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS) ESTABLISHED IN 1565 BY MIGUEL LOPEZ DE LEGAZPI 😊 A SPANISH CONQUITADOR😊 COLON ST IS CONSIDERED AS THE FIRST AND OLDEST STREET IN THE PHILIPPINES😊
Thank you so much sir ❤❤❤❤
New subscriber here from Deerfield Beach. Wow!
Hello neighbor and thanks for joining me!
@@BarefootVlogger you bet
The whole downtown area is called Colon / Columbus per English. There's Midtown, and Uptown area of the City too.
You can buy the cap or hat with "Philippines " in souvenir shops or tourist places where local or traditional products are sold...
you were not wrong, there is a Taboan market its for fish and dried fish, its a walking distance - everyone knows the location if you say Taboan fish market
Carbon is the wet market
Thanks, they kind of sound alike so I wasn't sure which was which
Thumbs up 😁😁😍 interesting vlog talking with locals people 😂
First again 😂😂😂 enjoy sir
You're fast! Thanks for watching
@@BarefootVlogger your welcome sir,,,i like your Vlog channel it's been interesting 🧐

I like to watch you Barefoot , youre so accomodating and kind,, you appreciate all.
🙏
Meant to comment, the house of lechon looked great reminded me of miami in the other video and the colon street all of the locals so friendly
Awesome ❤thanks for sharing
Great stuff I love it
You can find Philippine hats if you go to big shopping center, like SM,Gaisano etc.All kinds of them there's a design jeepney hat.
That’s an interesting place Terry thanks for sharing onward and upward buddy
Thanks brother, Onward and Upward!!
That was really impressive random raw videos and interaction with locals. You've done it again! Every filipino can easily relate to Ferdinand Magellan bcoz it is taught in literally all schools in PH. Just keeps getting better and better! Surprise us more!!👌✌🇵🇭🇺🇸
History isn't always pretty but it sure is interesting. I love learning about the culture and what the good people of the Philippines have endured throughout the centuries. They have my respect and admiration
@@BarefootVlogger are you cuban heritage ? the way you speak magellan was kinda latin accent. Streets like colon are authentic local culture not touristic like in Thailand or Vietnam. I also felt the same pure local athmosphere in Osaka Japan and Kaoshion Taiwan
Enjoy sir idol Barefoot blogger continew enjoy to visit cebu city sorounding in the area idol I'm safe enjoy in Filipino outside in thes area very good job idol
Wow lots of markets at night ! Interesting to see a different culture barefoot! Lots going on there! 😊
I never went to Cebu! Only Manila. Holy -- Cube looks crazy.... The people are amazing but jeez looks real rough. Really makes you appreciate what you have at home even when times don't feel good. Btw the ice cubes in philippines & thailand could easily make you sick as you seem to know, in Malaysia I've had 0 issues btw. Malaysia is very very nice, please check it out sometime! Can highly recommend it. Hope you're doing well! I'm off to Singapore in 2 weeks, super excited. heh!
Terry, try anything w ube as a pastry. Ube is a purple yam, it’s delicious. They make a sweet dough like a brioche and will incorporate ube. So good.
In school they are taught tagolag which is the national language and english. They learn there local dialects at home which in that area (and all Visayan island east), is bisayan... You are currently in the central visayan region....
Cebuano / Binisaya is the most spoken language in the country eventhough it's not taught in school curriculum.
Hi Terry! Will you be heading your way down to Cagayan de Oro?😊
One day, Kristine. Stay tuned and thanks🙏
Welcome to the Philippines,Cebu City.I'm from Mactan,Cebu.Born and raised in the island of Mactan.Looking forward to retire there soon. Here in the state is hard to survive with our SS money.Philippines is the Country of a smiley faces.
Mactan is beautiful. Next time I will stay on the island
Enjoy your stay in the phillipines try palawan and boracay you gonna love it
Enjoy and take care☺️🤗🤗♥️
13:20 the puv / mini bus look, that is very common in Cebu and it's really funny 🤣 during peak hrs when lots of commuters want to get home. It's like Japan's crowded train. I rode that one dozen times in standing😂 it's like processed sardines put in a thin can. It's really funny in Cebu they even have a BRT a bus transit on construction too and it's too small.
Thanks for another episode enjoy your stay in Cebu City.
Always an interesting tour
Thanks for taking the journeys with me bb
Balut can often be visually impossible to consider eating, but if you close your eyes, it tastes no different than chicken salad. It is one of life’s greatest mysteries.
2:00 this place in Jakosalem St. was a seedy area with a secret trade in the night. You just ask the bystanders about 'mangoes' and they will say "Green or yellow?". I don't know if the trade is still ongoing there.

I remember Brooklyn block parties quite well. I think the last time I went to one with my relatives was somewhere between 15-20 years ago lol.
Sadly people don't hang out like that anymore. It's one of the great reasons I love SE Asia. It reminds me of NY in the old days
