Love the Psycho reference, plus when he realizes his face is bandaged and has to see what he looks like. Camera pans down so we don't see him, only hear his distress. Very good shot and wise decision.
Always touched how, after everything that's happened to him, he calls a stray cat his friend. And while the cat reacts...negatively at first, the furball warms up to him in the sequels.
I just love the fact that they explain in the sequel that the cat survived and somehow found it's way back to him. It's both ridiculous and adorable. 😂❤
Imagine a sequel to this movie made today. 30 + years later. What has happened with Darkman? Is he still trying to perfect the synthetic skin? Physically what is he like assuming his burns have healed, and no reason why they should not have, He's a man in his 60s. Without his ability to feel sensations like pain his knees could be bone on bone and he'd never feel it.

Given he cannot feel anything, I am not surprised it's taken this long for him to realize he's bandaged.

Wonder where he gets the food for the cat?
@@sha11235probably uses the money he steals from the bad guys and uses his disguises to go shopping

When i was a kid this movie was bad...but now im 37yo...and i can see what a master piece this movie was...
I love the symbolism at 3:29 when the show the picture of him missing the half of his face that is burnt . That he will never look like himself again
Lot of similarities between this and Doc Ock returning to the warehouse. Raimi had a style
3:27 Poor Peyton, when he sees his horrible burnt face in a mirror, I felt a deep sadness for him...😟
Makes me sad when even the box blows away in the rain
Very moving. He realizes he has bandages on his face and needs to see what he looks like.
They made him a monster.
@@marquisbean651 fuck yeah they did to him and now he's hellbent for revenge on their fucking schemes
Sad like I am now wish I could go back to this era...the future seemed so much brighter and possible...nostalgia all I have.
Danny Elfman composed the music for this movie. I like it!
He also did the music for the Simpsons
He probably thought he was in some kind nightmare after waking up in the hospital
No. The nightmare began when he woke up.
He was hiding out in the same industrial park as Robocop...
Hey Murphy!!
Greetings Doctor
I feel so bad for him..
0:04 That's one way to avoid the hospital bill
That's smart --'
Fun Fact @0:45 Composer Danny Elfman was the one who splashed water on Liam Neeson/Darkman as the car passed by.
I love this video so much
0:43 Danny Elfman's contribution.
See how he removes his hat before he enters, sort of indicates he was once a refined individual and most but not all of that elegance is gone.
I love that movie very much!🙂
Yeah, I used to watched this movie a lot when I was 18. Liam Neeson is 'definitely' very good at potraying as a sympathetic character.
'Hello my friend'
-Cats high fives him-
A true homie..😅😅😅
An abandoned factory is a fixer upper, but with potential
But it ended up being destroyed like him. He ended up in some kind abandoned subway in the 2nd and 3rd
@@gregelliott5016 I know I've seen those films. The jury rigged railroad car He rode under the streets was dope. The rest wasn't.
@@Artisan1979 he probably just used what was available to him after the first movie to make that thing he rode on
@@gregelliott5016 I said I liked that car
Very h8ghly underrated for its time. Great cinematography and acting.

As long as Sam Raimi returns and Liam Neeson, I’d be down for a reboot.
