I hope you all have a great Christmas. :)
To clarify, when I said near the beginning "I can hardly do anything" I'm strictly talking about mental function. I can't think clearly, talking to people in person is embarrassing because I draw complete blanks, I walk into rooms and have no idea why I'm there. It's standard symptoms of dementia, I just don't know what's causing it. I only had 1-2 days where I was off balance, as I explained, which makes me think this is related to my spinal issues. With the brain fog I'm extremely irritable, and don't want to be around anyone much of the time, as everything annoys me. Noises, movement, etc.
Regardless, I am confident that all will be well once I figure out what's going on. Half the battle is knowing what is happening and being aware of it. I'm very self conscious of my current situation, and am walking through it one step at a time.
    Your prayers are much appreciated!

@@JDsVarietyChannel Wow, this second part really hits home for me! Exactly what happens to me as well! I've also noticed when I have brain fog/pressure, when I'm trying to talk to someone it's as if I had a stroke and can't get the words out. Thankfully this is only temporary, but it is scary and I get upset with myself.

@@JDsVarietyChannel Honestly try ibuprofen during a next episode. Also, as I mentioned, drink green tea. The L-theanine in it, or whatever, does help with clarity.

You know your body better than anyone else could. Find out what this is and kick its butt. I just got over an aneurysm brought on by a 2x6 on the Knott. LOL long story but I'll spare you the details. I was told to take it easy and it was only getting worse. I was experiencing the same problems you are. And I had enough of that. I started to exercise and doubled my intake of fresh vegetables and fruits and in the last two months I've been doing a lot better than when I was following Dr's orders. You'll figure it out and then take care of it. I'll be including you in my prayers JD

I suggest that you go on the carnivore diet for 90 days. It will clear out any possibilities of food related issues. We can live very healthy with out carbs, but we cannot live well without meat. If you do this, it will give your body what it needs to sort out what it can heal as it is designed to do. If you find that after the 90 days everything has corrected, then gradually add things back to your diet (if you want) to see how your body reacts to each item. This is a sure way to figure out if your issues are related to your gut in any way.

The first 24-48hrs, until I reach a state of Ketosis are the most difficult, once I get into ketosis, I will, typically drop to approx 1 meal a day and my diet is primarily carnivore. I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in March of 2022. I had so much chemo and a bone marrow transplant. (I am now cured as of October 04, 2024). The brain fog has been terrible. It's slowly lifting after 30 months but I do loose what I am trying to say. I forget things and ask the same questions several times without remembering that I had done so. I do get how hard it is to keep the mind straight. It's getting better. Best wishes Jonathan. Today is Christmas Day, 2024. I will pray for your health to improve. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year1 Take care and thanks for sharing about youe health. I have watched your videos from the beginning!

So glad you’re in remission. I was also diagnosed with AML in 2015. I have chemically induced neuropathy. The pain is horrible. I’m on severe pain meds to manage the pain. I have constant brain fog, to the point, I don’t like social interaction with people. I’m truly thankful to God for bringing me through the “cancer battle”. There is no but, so I embrace my reality , it’s not easy I will admit. Many Blessings to you.

    Take care, JD!
You may want to have the doctors check your adrenal glands, and also your cortisol levels. I deal with overactive thyroid and back issues myself. I have spinal stenosis, and it can cause excruciating pain at times. Hormones can do some funny things in the body.
Also, perhaps you might have a sensitivity to gluten. That can cause brain fog as one of the symptoms.
Try to feel better, and have a Merry Christmas!

J.D. I'm sorry to hear this. I am 51, and back when I was 17 I was in a single vehicle fatality accident. I was in a coma for a week, multiple bones broken, collapsed lung, and frontal lobe bruising. The frontal lobe is where your short-term memory is. With that, I do forget. Other things have changed as well. Many foods, unless organic, cause SEVERE brain fog and I become lethargic. After several trial and errors, I've discovered ibuprofen helps tremendously with the terrible brain fog, brain pressure. So, I consume a lot of ibuprofen. It's the only thing I've found that helps. I also take vitamins and drink A LOT of green tea every day. The green tea alone makes my head feel better and more focused and alert. B vitamins, omega fish oil, and magnesium are supposedly good for brain fog/health. Reach out if you need. I also must note that any foods that contain gluten affect me terribly, as well as lactose (dairy products). I strongly suggest scheduling a CT and MRI. Also, as weird as it sounds, the gut and brain connection can cause these symptoms.

Thank-you for sharing your story. And yes, as we age processed junk food can catch up with you. I know I'm nowhere near as tolerant as I used to be. My diet went downhill starting early this year. I was dealing with appetite issues and losing weight to a near unhealthy level, so I stopped worrying about what I was eating and put the weight back on. It's possible this caught up with me and made some existing issue worse. I'm now trying to clean all that up and see if it helps. In addition to working on that, I'm already supplementing more vitamins and pro/pre biotics to go along with the Vitamin D I already take. Magnesium is something I've already been taking periodically over the last couple years. One that is very high quality. I may need to start the fish oils. I hate them because of the taste, but I may try an alternative DHA my mom uses that is plant based. Again, thanks for your comment. :)

My brother broke his tailbone and had surgery on it. A year later a small infection from his tail bone that played dormant, traveled up his spinal cord and started a massive infection on top of his brain. He started with brain fog, headaches, and then he had a seizure. He had a brain scan and that is when they found it. He was very lucky they found it or he would have died. The infection stayed in the nervous system and can’t be tested in the blood because of the spinal fluid membrane.

I have experienced in my life similar symptoms as you. The brain fog was so terrible that I thought i was losing my mind.
What was wrong with me is a Candida (yeast) overgrowth that went through my blood brain barrier.
You can do a couple quick tests at home to either rule this out or not.
    1. Look at your tongue in the mirror. If it's coated white than you probably have a yeast problem.
    2. Put a small glass that is half full of filtered water by your beside. The first thing you want to do is try to get as much spiddle in your mouth and then spit it into the glass.
If your spit floats, you are good.
If your spit floats but has "legs" that venture to the bottom of the glass, then it would appear that there is yeast overgrowth.
If most of your spit goes to the bottom, then yeast is probably a major problem.
Please view the spit for up to 30 minutes.
You are a very precious brother in the Lord and I'm sorry you are going through this. Will be praying for you.

@@JDsVarietyChannel Glad to hear it. :) Also, i had a period lately where i had vertigo, i also got a sudden downfall in the health department. Not sure what caused it either. But i have become better again after taking a highly concentrated Omega 3 supplement that also contain other vitamins and minerals. But what i found having the biggest impact was a product i sometimes get from Synergy it i called Proargi-9 it helps blood circulation and with the cleaning of the veins and arteries. It helped me very much once getting rid of some stubborn leftover blood clotting. Now i usually use it as a cure whenever my feet swell up. And it`very effective. (a complication i sometime get after having a deep vein thrombosis back then) I think having a good blood circulation help the body heal faster. This time i got rid of the vertigo and the brain fog and breathing issue in about a week time on it. If you like to see what the company say about it, it can be found online at this place called Synergy Worldwide.

Oh JD this is horrible! It sounds like most of the signs of the beginning stages of Multiple Sclerosis. Lord have mercy 😢 I will pray for you. My friend’s husband developed MS at the end of his thirties and your symptoms are very similar to his. The stutter and the neurological problems was caused by the MS cysts/lesions that developed in his brain. He had more of the speech coordination and “foggy thoughts” feeling, vertigo and tingling. Please get checked for it asap to rule it out because there are things that can put it in remission.

Possibly vagus nerve compression at the base of the skull at the top of the spine. Problems with your arms/ hands may be disc and arthritis on the nerves in your neck. I'm experiencing similar problems myself. It is possible that when you look up and experience vertigo that an artery that supplies blood to your brain may be temporarily pinched restricting blood flow. I'm not doctor but I'm having tests done in the near future for similar reasons. I hope this helps you.

Thanks Dave. What you suggested makes sense. I lack the proper curve in my neck, and there is certainly abnormal strain already known to exist. When I got my first y-strap treatment 2 years ago it ended nearly all my neck relates headaches instantly and helped correct my posture from years of overcompensating from the discomfort. I'm also wondering if something got compressed, or maybe if I have disc instability. Hard to tell until I get more treatment. Thankfully I don't have any numbness or tingling anywhere. Whatever this is it seems to be mostly neurological, so I'm hopeful the issue is isolated and not difficult to correct. I wish you the best with your tests!

I am not medically trained, but have been seeing a lot about the carnivore diet for healing mental and physical issues. I actually believe mental issues stem from physical ones. At least watch some Dr. Ken Berry videos and investigate for yourself. It sounds counter-intuitive, but I feel great eating very low or no carb. God bless you

You didn't ramble at all Jonathan. Another commenter mentioned adrenal glands and overactive thyroid issues, which my step-dad (who I've already mentioned to you) suggested when I talked to him today. Fervently praying for you brother.
He also mentioned that he's seen a lot of odd things going on within the bodies of his patients ever since they had COVID- jab or no jab. Makes the body go haywire in peculiar ways.
Also, I sent him this video so he can hear your story and symptoms from you. No harm in getting another professional opinion :)

Same thing was happening to my sister. The doctors were baffled so they labled it glioblastoma. And treated her with chemo and radiation, and she now just passed away.
I told her the dangers of getting a biopsy. Our bodies make these tumor mass like things to keep toxins contained. It could lead to spreading what ever it is trying to protect the body from.
I pleaded with her to do a detox with bentonite clay activated charcoal and a few other things to help with mold in the body. She was around black mold and had allllllll the symptoms of mycotoxicosis. It's crazy that the doctors couldn't figure it out. I think they get kick backs from the chemo and radiation and just to indoctrinated to look into it unfortunately.
Praying for you bother🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤ please look into mold detox and parasite cleanse. I would personally do both🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey buddy you seem like you are having some pretty good panic attacks. I don’t know how you feel about medication and things of that nature but if all tests come back normal I would most definitely start researching ways to deal with anxiety. Mine made its way into my life after my son was born.

    • @JDsVarietyChannel
      @JDsVarietyChannel  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Thanks for commenting. I used to have panic attacks in 2012 before I started the TH-cam channel when I developed PTSD from a medical event (shared that in an old video how metal detecting helped me heal) . Thankfully I was able to heal from that in less than a year. This is different than general anxiety, though the thought has crossed my mind, but I'm simply not stressed, which is why I think is something very specific. But yeah, appreciate you, and hope you are able to deal with yours! I know it's not fun. Stress in general wreaks havoc on the body, so I'm trying to limit bad stress best I can.
