I forgot to mention the reverse, but under no circumstances can a woman be simultaneously married to multiple men (polyandry), based on my understanding of scripture.
One thing I’ve noticed throughout the Bible is that anytime there was a multiple wives situation it never went well. I think that should be our example as we look at cause-and-effect with how people lived their lives back in biblical times. I will pray for you to be healed of whatever you’re struggling with! Merry Christmas to you and yours and God bless you this new year with His best. One more thing I love when you said the descriptive/prescriptive reminder. I am going to use that going forward because I think that is fantastic!
Jonathan!! It's so good to see your face on here! Been praying for you friend! It's interesting that you brought up this topic, as I have recently noticed videos popping up in favor of and pushing the idea of "christian men" having multiple wives, and I personally haven't seen this being pushed as much in the past. Thank you for your perspective on the headship order as well- so important for establishing and maintaining a godly family. Unfortunately, in many cases that headship order is not being followed and the family unit becomes discombobulated
Hey Kristen, thank-you for your prayers. :) I haven't noticed that trend, so I'll have to look into it. Unless you're talking about the Black Hebrew Israelites. That movement has grown some over the last several years, and I know some of them promote and are into Polygamy.
No. That question has been answered definitively by Christ and His Church over 2000 years ago. Historically the Christian view on marriage was reevolutionary. And the Church set the canon of scripture. The Churchnproduced the NT. The NT did not produce the Church. Christ did.

@setapart1631 No, I'm not referencing Black Hebrew Israelites. It's under the guise of "christian manliness"- sort of how Andrew Tate is.

11:00 it's not natural for animals to care about the sexuality of other animals
But if only the natural world exists, then there's nothing unnatural that exists, including my opinion.
@setapart1631 based. I disagree with your spiritual views but also respect the way you approached the topic. Interpret that as you will my friend 👍
All good my friend. Comment any time. Opposing opinions are welcome.
