i love the way you review that mic, one question.. does the mic has a battery indicator when the battery level is low? to prevent the mic from not turned on

Yeah, the same light that indicates that it's on is the light that will indicate if the battery is low I believe. It's not happened yet for this mic, but that's how it is for most shotgun mics I've used.

Would this mic work from slightly farther away? I'm looking to record a short film and I need a microphone that can pick up clean audio from a decent range

@Vellichoriva I've been using this mic for a short film at the moment, and I recently shot outside being roughly 2-3 metres away from it, and was surprised to find that it picked my voice up quite well. When I was over 5-ish metres away, it sounded distant, but was still clear.

should look for pro plus. More power in the audio so better for your purpose than just pro

I struggled big-time with that, too. It just slides into the camera mount after you slide off the mount cover at the top. You don’t try to flip the lid open, as the mount cover of the camera slides off backward - meaning, toward the back of the camera where all the dials are.
I hope this helps, person! I know I definitely needed the pointer back when I got it and found help literally NOWHERE!

I don’t use it for Vloging. I use it for wild life
