Yo, I got my Tello up to 29 meters, with the altitude Tello app....without an extender. I was extremely happy, until I lost control,and could not bring it back down. I then,saw my Tello fly away, out of control , lost in space. Bought a new Tello for XMAS, must say I learned my lesson.
Wow. Thanks for sharing mate. Yes an awesome lesson there. I have had the same happen to me. If you push these drones to their limits they will fail every time. Martin Pascual No mate. No overheating issues. Vision positioning goes out of the window meaning of you are in fast mode it will automatically revert to slow grandpa mode!

I haven't it had lose WiFi but I believe from other vids it will just try to land after the battery runs down so you'd want to have it in sight and not very high when that happens just in case the wind takes it!

Sasu Heikkilä Yes mate it does. Meaning it will revert from fast mode to slow mode..... not an issue though. You just need to be switched on with the controls. Use the height app in an open area and don't fly above water! !! Enjoy!🍻👍
i am also going to try and build a mass wifi extender to see how far we can push it so it can reach the distance and quality of $500+ drones, if anyone has any ideas id love to hear em going to be building a massive extender.

If you have a look in the Tello app You'll find in the setting you can change the height limit lol
