Took me 2 days. I used a Halberd. The areas are amazing. I didn't die to a single boss except the girl from the poison area. And that's because I got vaporized by the baby things. Game felt like a soulsgame unlike ds3 and darksouls 4(elden ring)

Before 1.4 patch, it took a bit to actually make the change. So you could leave a 4th Archstone from any world, have Archstone 4 saved, then prevent the game from placing the spawn at arrival stone by force quitting, this saved the spawn point for Archstone 4, however, the game is unable to warp you between worlds in a respawn, so it just places you at Archstone 4 for whatever world you died in
You can do that with any boss that uses a Cutscene, because the scene hasn’t triggered, the AI is never told to activate, if you approached the fog door the AI would activate after the cutscene played
My personal guess for why the wrong warp glitch exists is that Bluepoint actually spent most of development working with old gen load times(hence why they revamped the old loading screens that you can see in the credits iirc) so info about the player's location does not load as to account for this discrepancy so you can force quit and mess up the game while it retrieves player data

Im pretty sure the way u do a boss skip is by, entering the world, leave the game right away, re enter, and then die. After that u go straight to the boss.

@@OneQrs Oh wow, I wouldn't have suspected it could carry across characters. That has some neat implications since you could warp straight to just about any archstone provided you have a character that's got those unlocked already.
It's called the wrong warp glitch if I'm not mistaken, basically the game doesn't register the archstone immediatly after you teleport, so if you teleport from example from 2-4 to 5-1 and quit out immediately after the loading is over, it doesn't register the archstone so it will teleport you to 5-4 after you die, even if you haven't unlocked it yet. To teleport to the false king throne, you need to warp from 4-4, because that's treated as 4-5 for some reason.
Yo I got a 1 minute speed run because as soon as I got to 1-1 in ng+ some guy invaded me and a beat hit ass but decided to kill my self so I could go back to soul form and spawned in the boss room and he never attacked me so I could whale on him and eventually killed him so if anyone could tell me if my play through is ruined I would appreciate it.

That won't happen as if the machine can load in an area quicker then it can also quit and reload quicker

How did you reach Phalanx? You can't wrong warp to the second archstone in that map without a second-archstone unlocked SOMEWHERE.
I think it's something to do with closing the game just as the area loads in and reopening it. I dunno how it works but that's all I have to go on.
There is carryover from a previous character that allows you to set the 2nd archstone on a fresh file.
